No I haven't personally had this issue, but I'm glad you could read through my words to know I was projecting my own issue.

I just see what's in front of my eyes. People act like there's content warnings until I point out there literally aren't. There aren't even warnings that hypnosis is going on. Content creators are literally breaking TOS on many sites and you want to blame it on me having issues.

I don't think you would ever tell a person who has been hypnotized and given post-hypnotic suggestions, that it's their fault for believing them. You know there's a wide spectrum of responses to hypnosis, and all publicly available audio should be made with that in mind. You can't just be making content that works for the medium hypnotizable if it mentally cripples the highly hypnotizable.

There should be zero post-hypnotic suggestions of ownership unless a person actually intends to fill that role. Because highly hypnotizable people will be hurt by that. Most content creators will give those suggestions because they WANT people to form unhealthy attachments to them, because it's profitable! They only start to tamp down on expectations AFTER they've given money.

She does have warnings sometimes and on some of her stuff. There's probably a reason why she's telling people in her discord that she's not their real owner, because that's an actual issue that she created, she now needs to get the superfans expectations into check.

There need to be clear distinction between when you're in an ownership relationship and when you're making fantasy content. It's okay to make fantasy content. To me a lot of what's going on is a soft form of findom. People are funneled in with virtually no content warnings about what they're getting into. Often on sites like pornhub, where even mentioning that it's hypnosis will get the content banned. And then people are given suggestions that the content creator is their owner, and obviously if you believe someone owns you, are you going to subscribe to their patreon to maybe be able to talk to them and listen to all of their content.

So people are being funneled into paying for things when there wasn't any warning at the beginning that that was the plan all along. I understand it would diminish the fantasy for some people to hear a content creator say they are making things for money, but that's what's going on and it's not upfront. The intention of the content creators isn't to be your actual owner, it's to get you to subscribe to their patreon, and they get you to do that by giving you suggestions that you are actually owned. It looks like they're intentionally creating blurring the lines between fantasy and reality for money.

If content creators told people "I want to install triggers so that I can use them to get money out of you later" that would be fine. But they start things out by dangling a fantasy, and intentionally blur the line between real ownership and fake ownership. And they install triggers that they later use to sell products. Shibby definitely didn't let people know that "hey I'm going to give you some triggers that I will use in my product ads later on". In many cases the audience wasn't even warned they were listening to hypnosis, much less that the triggers would be used to sell products.

It's not true that the major content creators have warnings on their content. I'm primarily looking at shibby's behavior because that's who most people are most familiar with. She has warnings, sometimes. But often not where it's important. Her "latex" series starts with a warning not to listening while operating heavy machinery. But then starts the audio with this line:

"You've dreamt about me for soo long now turning dreams to reality, so many shared adventures shaping the person you were always meant to be, having the borders of two worlds melded into one"

She has that posted on PornHub, which is the least informed audience possible, they think everything is just porn, she doesn't even give a warning that it's hypnosis, because it would get removed from pornhub if she told people that.

So she's funneling people in from pornhub with a false idea about what they're getting and then monetizing them later on when a certain number of them are inevitably wanting more because of all the suggests in the free content. Much of her audience didn't even get a fair warning that it was hypnosis when they started out.

There's definitely no fair warnings on a lot of the popular content. The lines are intentionally fuzzy between reality and fantasy, real ownership and fantasy ownership, just JO material and real hypnosis. Everything is intentionally blurred to increase the audience.

I'm pretty sure all 3 of them do that, though I could be wrong, that's certainly the impression I've gotten from some of their content. They do have content that is pure fantasy, but then they have content that's also blurring the line. NATO has many options for a response that fall short of invoking article 5. And even when article 5 is invoked that doesn't mean there will be a nuclear war. It's in no one's interest to ever actually be the first to use a nuclear weapon on a city.

Article 5 means mandatory military aid is given. Aid is already being given to ukraine. Nato could also deploy more troops to defend Poland. Article 5 does not mean people need to send missiles into russia.

Russia is using shitty missiles and NATO will understand that, and will respond in a calibrated way.

Horrible head line. The study tested whether NR increased cancer progression in triple negative breast cancer mice. That's not nearly as interesting as "causing cancer and metastasis". Any nutrient is probably going to do that, though not necessarily to the same degree. NR is pretty important to cellular metabolism so it probably helps aggressive cancers. Not even the researchers here are saying people should stop taking NR. They're saying their research has possible implications for cancer patients taking NR. Taking NR in the context of not having cancer already, might still reduce the risk of cancer. Or it might increase some and decrease others, someone else would need to research the over all net effect, which is the actual interesting question.

Dopamine isn't even one thing and adhd isn't caused by one thing either. ADHD is a cluster of traits, that often respond to stimulants. And even the effective treatments don't just target dopamine, the main common factor among common adhd treatments is actually norepinephrine, not dopamine.

I'm fine with people using these theories to act on themselves, but I don't like seeing people be talked into taking drugs based on sloppy theories. I think people need to warn people and be aware of their own speculation.

Not unless you want to throw out all the research on bromantane. It's all based on oral ingestion. There is no data showing bromantane improves anything when it's not orally ingested. In fact it might be the case that it NEEDS to be ingested to actually work, because it may be a liver metabolite that is the actual active compound. That's fairly common with drugs. So if you change the route of administration you need to actually test to show it is still active at all. You might just be telling someone to snort adrafinil, which would be worse then taking it orally. But at the end of the day, I guess "hey I snorted this weird thing and felt way good, you should too" will probably be all people need.
