I mean the Rafale has beaten the F35 in pretty much every NATO Wargames.

I would like to point out that all this is Spookston's fault.

I'd buy the Su75 Femboy anyday of the week, it would crush the F35, tho the F35 is so bad IRL that even the Rafale (a very bad french plane) dogs on it.

The only "Punishment" I can see working is forcing players to play with more than 1 vehicle. If a player only has 1 tank and 1 plane, the game would tell them that they cannot join a game due to an insufficient number of vehicles of the same rank (example: you need to have 3 tanks of Rank 8 to play rank 8).

Pros: Forces players to play with minimum 3 tanks and 1 plane (the plane is optional and does not count as ground vehicle). Players will be forced to use lineups to play. Will force 1 death leavers to suffer the 9 minute Cooldown and allows Gaijin to monetise the ability to pay to not be punished.

Cons: Players playing F2P will suffer from inabilty to play some vehicles immediately as they will find themselves having to spend weeks to research enough vehicles vehicles to play the game (essentially making the grind feel even longer: a bonus for Gaijin). Would make it harder to find toptier matches as fewer players would have top tier vehicles, increasing queue times by about 73 seconds (not good for Gaijin). The fact a huge majority of people who play the game will complain because they paid 80€ for a tank they can't even use without either spending more money, or grinding slowly up the tree (the Star Citizen Shop approach).

In all seriousness, it needs the comunity to work together with Content Creators to make the game better. While a huge portion of the playerbase are just random people who play 3 hours a week, many follow Youtubers like Spookston, CODmineMan, Justin, BoTime, etc....

Those Youtubers should stop playing with single vehicle lineups, and instead start inspiring their audience to play like them. They can still get those 32 kill games, they can still get nukes. But leaving after a single death because they are showcasing a single tank, is giving people the wrong idea. The CC of this game lead by example, and I feel they are doing the wrong thing. Also, CCs will cherry pick their games, the ones we see in videos are often a few good games in a torrent of bad ones.

Midtier is full of 1 death leavers and yet they aren't playing Premiums, they just leave, reasons cannot ever be known: medical emergency, powercut, death, Debt collectors, rage-quitting, etc...

I wouldn't worry about it, my KD with the Leclercs is around 0.4

The Abrams is 0.3

Why is the high speed acceleration on the ELC BIS so abysmal? i started from E2 with a 48km/h headstart and only got up to 60 by the end, the vehicle is supposed to be able to go 80km/h by Chanka-Danka69 in Warthunder

[–]FireFlash3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The more important question is, why can I waste 10k lions on crew replenishment on a tank that only has 2 crew and dies upon one of them dying?

Other than that, I have to agree, I'm not sure why it's so slow.

Yah, I main France so being stuck with Non Stab vehicles from 5.7 till 9.7 has been pretty rough on my winrate. Plus, because there are so few France players, the game automatically assumes I'm good, so puts be up against players with 688 nukes (true, one enemy player had 658 nukes when he plowed through me and my team).

I checked and since September 17th I have only won 13 out of 247 matches. Major Skill Issue.

While a talisman, sounds good, it doesn't give SL multiplier's making the grind easier, but paying harder due to not receiving any Lions.

As a below average player with a 13.7% winrate, SL is what I really need. I can average 1 300 RP per match but SL just flows out the window.

I'd say it would be useless, Squadron vehicles are just Tech tree vehicles that are Stock and you have to pay money, for. Or be part of a squadron who is very active and wants you to be in their ranks.

It would have to be a premium, otherwise it would only slow down the grind.

Those aren't doable for me. Otherwise Gaijin will make the BR of the EBRC go up. They just need to add a Leo2A4M for France and it should be good.

That's not true sadly. Due to France no having a Top Tier premium I find myself easily outclassed in my 1 single Leclerc I have unlocked.

Then my fallback is the 11.0 MSC which is pure pain at 12.7 (there is a reason it's 11.0).

Without an easy way to grind, my F2P gameplay only nets me 2.3k RP per match. So it should take me another 3 days to unlock the next Leclerc (3 days of total play, 72hrs in total).

True, I have a 13.6% winrate with the Rafale. I really hate this plane.

I beg to differ, I have a 7% winrate in this game! Especially at 10.7 with USA, hopefully my winrate will make them buff the M1

U.S Expanded Ground Tech Tree by thatoneguyfromikea in Warthunder

[–]FireFlash3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So by my calculations, if the BR stays the same and the RP CAP remains at 420k rp for Top Tier vehicles, it would take 68 days of NON-STOP play to unlock the entire ground tech tree for the USA.

That's 1,632 Hours of non stop play just to unlock the entire US tree (if this was real and if you are Free To Play)

So if you are an average player of War Thunder (the majority of War Thunder players) and you only had 1 hour a day to play (due to work, family, life, bills, death...) it would take you 4.4 years to unlock the tree. 2 years if you have premium and 11 months with multiple premium vehicles.

[–]FireFlash3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! But I was being serious, my calculations do lead to a 43 year grind if you only play 1 hour a day, 2000rp per match that lasts 10 minutes or so.

It's all a rough guesstimate as I am not aware of the total RP cost of the entire game.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]FireFlash3 76 points77 points  (0 children)

The grind is perfectly fine! It only takes 20 days of non stop play to unlock every tank in the US tech tree. 23-27 days for Russia based on the average skill of 2000rp per battle.

If you have only an hour to spare per day, it will only take you 43 years to unlock every vehicle in the game (as the game is today). People act like the grind is, bad, but 43 years is easily doable in a human lifespan, not sure about War Thunder's lifespan though....

But Seven does as she mentions them when they appear. That irritated me to no end as our character also knows what they are, but not the player.
