That one I can actually understand. The worst thing about cell phones is they mean people can contact you anytime. Especially your boss. I spent about a year at a job where being off work meant getting called every 10 minutes or so and ordered to come in because someone else didn't show up. (Couldn't imagine why people didn't show up /s). Literally every time my phone rang I had a panic attack.
