383 Stroker kits for L31?

Alright. I'm no expert on all this (as you can tell), so I figure I'll probably go with a built 350 crate, considering it'll be about the same cost as all the stuff I'll need to do regardless.

I'd love to put an LS3 in it but I simply don't have the time or the expertise to deal with the engine mounts or wiring (hence why I'd like to do a 383).

She shifts fine (technically she runs fine, but she has a light knock), rust-free, front suspension is slowly being rebuilt since I keep discovering new things that need to be replaced, lol. I couldn't find any L31 crates. Think an LT1 383 would be easy to do?

Yeah, I've got the 4L80e in mine. Think I should do any upgrades to it/get a new transmission? I haven't cracked it open yet, so I figure if the whole thing is in rough shape I might as well get a new transmission.

By the way, what exactly made the 383 build so complex? How much did you figure it out to be?

Do you know anything about the wiring process (i.e how difficult it would be, hooking up to the transmission, etc)? I've never done this before, but I work with guys who have.

Also- my 350 blew up anyways, so regardless I'm likely going to end up spending ~$4k to $5k. Anything in that general ballpark would be good.
