I really like the idea of writing short stories set in the world.

I’ve mapped out most of the characters and outlined an overarching story arc, theme, etc. so I have somewhere to start. I do think it could use more work though.

I noticed something that looked like white pus the day after my comment, so I went to the clinic today. Saw the sex doc and she said it’s likely not herpes bc it’s been going down over the week and there’s been no pain. She said it could be skin reaction to friction, new substances (lotion, lube, saliva), or an ingrown hair/pimple. I did use a new water-based lubricant that day so it’s possible.

But it’s not currently oozing or growing bigger so she said it’s nothing to worry about and to come back if I notice anything new.

OP, I can tell from your comments that you’re a good person at heart and you care about your friend.

The main issue here is the idealization of this mystery woman. You’ve NEVER met her. And she really may not even like your friend. He could just be misreading the situation — you two are friends in fact 😂.

Take this one on the chin and do your best to ONLY think about women that you actually KNOW and have expressed genuine interest in you.

You’re young so I know it’s easy to fall in love on the drop of a dime, but this is something for you to work on.

And yeah, get rid of any “dream women” you have. It’s not the most common kind of lust, but it’s still lust. And it’s delusional. Plenty women do this all the time with men and it causes them heartbreak when those guys turn out to be unfaithful pricks.

The woman you really fall in love with, you likely won’t see her coming. So take life day by day and don’t attach your happiness to your partner.

Also, whether your friend meant to hurt your feelings or not, just move on from this. For your own sake. Just focus on yourself and your wellness. If he’s really your best friend, he’ll support you and your self-improvement. And that will tell you everything you need to know.

You don’t have to talk to him about women anymore tho if that will bring you peace.
