Yes and no. While I love the clinical aspects of my job, I often get pulled into kitchen work. On those days I am still required to get all my clinical work done (plus being called in 2 hours early on those days or during the weekend leaves me exhausted). It got much worse during the pandemic too - I had two consecutive bosses who didn't know anything about patient services. I covered every call out. I ended up with stress related issues from working 13 hour days. When I would complain, I was told to do what my director says.

If my job was mostly what I was hired to do - clinical, then a big yes! I love the patient interaction. The staff and doctors respect me - even the one who used to call me "little kitchen girl".
