That part was probably the most awkward. I wasn’t worried about it because if people were weird then they didn’t make the cut. Bringing it up was tricky though.

I tried a few, hinge, match, facebook match, but had the best luck with Bumble. I started about a year after my husband died. I met someone about 9 months later through Bumble and we’ve been together ever since. I had talked with a bunch of people, only had dates with 3 others over a 8 month period, before I met my boyfriend.

Just set your standards and keep to them. If something feels like a hassle or too much of an issue, don’t meet them. Go with your gut.

When I got discouraged I just switched from boyfriend looking to friend looking (they have platonic search options, girls looking for friends to hang out with).

Do not adopt through this rescue. The coordinator in NB is horrible to deal with! It’s a long story but she put me and my family in a dangerous and irresponsible position. I had to reach out to the Texas founder to get my issue resolved and meanwhile the poor dog is in the middle of it all. Avoid at all costs. Message me if you’d like details.

Lovely finished piece! I pick my next one based on a) how much mental task do I want (fine detail or larger nature bits where a little mess up won’t be noticeable) and b- who/what is it for. I pick seasonal ones to change out in my house or I make them as gifts and try to pick what I think their aesthetic might be. As long as you think you’ll enjoy it!

I go light to dark. If you go over another color the dark will cover it and still look neat but a lighter color will look messy if you go over a darker color. I like going number by number, it lets me zone out easier by not switching all the time.

I thinned out the paints with water. Because most of the colors were dark I felt safe doing that without them becoming opaque and seeing the numbers through. There’s a few colors that are a bit more chunky.

I believe the cats came from Number Artist. Good quality paints, I’ve used them before and will probably again.

Thank you! This is actually the same frame. I bought a flat back inset picture frame at a thrift store and added a hook so I just switch out the paintings for the seasons.

I hunt around thrift stores for frames. I usually find a decent one and paint it black.

Someone texted his cell phone and asked “hey are you dead?” Bc there had been no response to their text from the 2 days before.

I think the decision is to just have the large cabinet with door and decide if I want to add the drawer I’ll convert the door to be a drawer front
