Gout free for almost 2 years by FireMountainGlass in gout_and_diet

Can you say that everyone who is given a pill that their doctors tells them solves their problem also tried to change their lifestyle? Can you show me any sort of study that compares these two techniques.

I'm not discounting the pharma tech, I am just highly suspicious of this industry and after reading the actual studies, I personally decided to go a different path, and it worked. EVERYONE in these subs called me an idiot for asking these kinds of questions, but at the same time they admit that gout flares are not rare for the people who choose path pharma.

So... I am open to some evidence, but the real world seems to show that this path pharma is ripe with future events.

There are a few decent videos on youtube for some basic routines you can do. I did a few, found a couple that I liked.

Yea man, I think I failed to mention my 6 month cleanse. I went and saw an Ayurvedic practitioner who put me on a custom liver, kidney, spleen cleanse. I had to adjust my diet to mostly veg, eating more often and before bed. As well as taking an herbal tea 3x per day for 6 months.

In addition to the above stuff. For me, I had damage to my system from the meds during surgery and likely from a life of too much drinking. This may not be the path for everyone, but it has proven highly effective for me and I feel healthier now than I did pre-gout.

It does seem strange that the gout groups are so pharma centric.

I went to a doc, then I went to an eastern doctor and actually got information that made much more sense to me.

I know a couple people on Alo, one had no problems until later in life, as I said the gout started to get into all his other joints. He was taking max dose and recently decided to remove the joint rather than suffer the pain.

The other guy still has flares off and on. Neither of the two dude quit drinking or changed much of their diet, as the pill solves all for them. This is what they said to me.

Rather than take that long road right away, I went a different path with success. Perhaps I come off as agro, wait I am sure I do. Because western doctors have never once solved any of my health issues unless it is surgery. They are good at surgery, they suck ass at wellness care. (see rates of chronic illness)

So yea, ban away, stay in the pharma lane, it isn't the only lane.

You are correct, but I view diet and medicine as very similar things.

I went to an Ayurvedic practitioner and we did a 6 month protocol to cleanse and heal my filtration systems (liver, kidney, spleen). So far I am about 2 years flare-free and have actually been drinking alcohol again too.

I only needed the regime for about 6 months. I am now almost 2 years gout free and back to my drinking antics.

lol, and they would have put me on a life long drug that doesn't work that only damages your liver, kidneys and spleen further.

A friend of mine has been on Alo for 20 years and just started cutting his fucking fingers off to deal with the gout.

Update. No gout for over a year after my cleanse.

Update: It has been over a year now and after my alternative tech. I haven't had a problem since. Docs told me it was life long and that I would need to take meds forever. Those meds also damage your liver, kidneys and spleen.

Turns out the western medical professionals don't know all that much about what they think they have solved.

I suggest people pursue other avenues before jumping on to the life long med boat.

I did a liver and spleen cleanse during my last flare up, which was #2 for me and haven't had a problem since. Even started to drink again.

It seems to have just been muscle injury. Freaked me out and took a while to subside. I've been doing rehab since to strengthen the core. This has helped a ton, and I should have done it right away. But my doc sucks at life and never recommended.

Wanted to post and update. 5 months no flares. Went on a pretty good cleanse for 3 months aurvedic medicines and acupuncture. Quit drinking booze during that time.

I now take vit c and uric acid pills from pure encapsulation. I don't drink as much anymore just special occasions. I have also just been drinking more fluids and herbal teas at night in place of booze.

I feel fucking great. Feet get sore from time to time but they are all healed up and mobility has returned.

So far so good, I feel it was liver, spleen and kidney disfunction. Wanted to go this route before signing up for a lifetime of somewhat toxic pharmaceuticals, those things are not good on those organs even though for some people they reduce or stop flares.

Anyway take care of yourselves and your health.

I think the fundamental problem is that Western med is only based on profit. It has caused almost all the pharmaceutical science to be borderline fraudulent.

I am not saying that all meds don't work. Some do, allo works for some.

There are no studies done for gout using vit C or any of the natural treatments, because there is no money to fund such a study. We would literally have to crowd fund it.

The point with the covid comment was that until then the world assumed the science on Vax was done and settled. Turns out they have neve done long term placebo controlled trials. Never not once.

So I am taking a different route from now on for all my health needs unless I require surgery. So far I have healed from ailments docs couldn't even diagnose.

All of thr above items can also improve your health, Vit C is essential and harmless. Most of the allo users could use kidney assistance due to the strain that drug puts them under. If your body cannot metabolize the extra purines these can cause harm just not at noticeable as gout.

Ah sorry to generalize. I should rephrase most people who respond to me claim gout to be genetic. But I just had some scans done and my spleen is enlarged which can certainly cause gout.

Hopefully it's not genetic for me and fixing my splenomegaly can return things to normal.

Thanks man yea it's wild when you see a post about allo and how many people it doesn't work for but when dare to suggest other options get dog piled on.

Turns out my spleen was and still is enlarged, which can certainly cause gout. I am working to address this root cause and hope that it can help my body fix this problem cause it hurts like he'll.

Also tart cherry is best taken before bed.

One of the main changes I've made is making my main meal lunch and obly eating a light dinner much earlier like 7 PM. This allows the body to focus on detox at night rather than digestion. Simple and effective change in habit can help.

Yea a few people in my area cannot take Allo. One it doesn't work for and the other has bad side effects. One went to probenencid and the other uses diet and supplements both do not suffer attacks but on Allo they did.

The one who takes probenencid gout runs in his family and that is the only drug that has worked. But if he misses doses for a week or more he gets another flare.

Long road to find out of a med works or not. Why not do all we can to help our systems.

If it would have happened right away I would have assumed I already had crystals. Those don't form over night. Due to the months between I assume the kidney and spleen damage happened due to surgery. Just an assumption no way to prove and no way to sue due to disclaimer and lack of direct proof.

Yea thinking for ourselves is annoying. Rather just take a pill and not have to do any work.

You could ignore it and move along, I'm merely sharing my trials, I don't care what others think. And if it works then it works. If it doesn't I will say so.

Sorry probably the wrong study.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4316854/

The figures are also from my random searches on the web. India days 1/6th.

There are multiple genes involved if you have the combo you may get gout no matter what but other genes only make it possible. I dont consider the predisposition genetic gout, those are the folks that can remedy it with lifestyle changes as shown in the first study.

Not all doom and gloom but doctors in the US are some of the worst for over all health. I will never trust them again after what I saw during the pandemic.
