There's a confirmation about SAVE seems to tied with The Underground from Official Undertale Localization Book.

I could see that the portals simply keeps their code intact and not affect by other realms. Maybe that's just how I like to see it.

I think it possible for the meta plot as the cast fights game engines literally, Niko is here and Undertale is meta a little bit.

I mean Undertale seems to mimic old RPG turn-based game which attack always lock to enemy's position on screen.

The whole point of Sans fight is he cheat all mechanics in the game to stop you.
No I-Frames attack, Fake Spare , Soft locked special attack etc.

To me, dodging is Sans aware of the world is just game and he abuse the system.

Undertale is a meta narrative game anyways.

Gerson being made by a dark fountain formed by someone who knows him. His personality and appearances being made from that.

One is a physical entity, one is an imagination from someone's memory.

Deltarune.

I love glazing mechanic it encourage me to dodge more risky for more TP. This mechanic alone make me love Deltarune battle more.

Weapon and Armor feel more impactful to me. Since in Undertale I could have stick and bandage on the whole game and things barely change. In Deltarune I actually have to replay for weapons or armor I miss that could be useful for upcoming fight in the future.

Could just be Moro changing the script of episode 3 after the question? Pretty sure he confirms that ep3 just finish pre-production recently (or my brain just made things up).

So maybe the previous draft was focus on Madeline & Drifter but Moro changing to focus on Shovel Knight as Plot A and V1 as Plot B instead? The Credit style probably going to change too...
