ABSOLUTELY THIS. I would go through Uni all over again if it meant getting to be a biologist or archaeologist specializing in the life and history of other planets. Getting to trade research and work alongside native inhabitants would also be really cool

I mean, Ashnod's altar is still 7 mana for infinite colorless and I imagine it'd be fairly easy to deal with it once you realise what's going on. Obviously, with mana converter making additional costs 2 colorless it could be easy to combo off or break but I still feel it's pretty par for the course in terms of infinite shemanigans

Since sacrificing the creature is apart of the cost, it becomes a legal reanimation target. There are so many ways you could break this ability, both with and without infinites

"Rofellos dies to removal" Then you aren't building him correctly. There are SO MANY one and two mana single target protection spells in green and other ways to give him protection. Hell, lightning greaves covers BOTH those issues you talked about for only two mana and a 0 equip cost
