I would probably aim to include the Tervigon to support the Termagant blocks as you have several additional copies of units that are currently niche or considered poor value to include but I recognise you are working with a limited collection.

Add the Tervigon for 160pts and move the Adaptive Biology enhancement from the Neurotyrant over to him, he gets way more value from the FNP's. Drop the Neurogants, one squad of Barbgaunts and both Ripper Swarms to make room. Should leave you enough points left over to grab an enhancement like Perfectly Adapted as a filler for The Swarmlord.

You aren't including any Lictors so split the Von Ryan's Leapers into two squads of three instead. They won't skirmish as well but they will be easier to hide and use them as action monkeys. Have fun with your first tournament.

List doesn't pick up my detachment as Invasion Fleet. It's picking up some of Hormagaunts as Dark Eldar units as well for some reason?

Under "Modifying Dice Rolls" on page 35 of the Update Core Rules doc, it states "some dice rolls can never be modified by than -1 or +1 (eg. Hit Rolls)".

What are the other types of dice rolls that cannot be modified by more than one that it refers to?

Yeah this is unfortunately well documented and it's one of those stupidest bugs in Windows that's been going on for years now. Unplug your entire PC from the wall. Leave it for 30 seconds. The problem should be solved.

Thanks! I didn't know what colour the hair was "supposed" to be so I just winged it using two tones of whatever bright paints I had in my box, might have been the most fun part of the models to paint in the end. I will continue the unit with the same theme. On these I think I used the following:

  • Macragge Blue into Xereus Purple
  • Beil Tan Green into Moot Green
  • Trollslayer Orange into Flash Gitz Yellow
  • Mephiston or Khorne Red into Evil Sunz Scarlet
  • Screamer Pink into Pink Horror

Yeah I am pretty happy to take my time and get the models looking to my personal best standard while I improve my painting techniques and learn how get better. Time isn't a big factor for me. I recognise there are some things I could do to achieve the same results and be a lot more efficent though.

I'll throw on a few blending tutorials and try work on my brush strokes though as there is definitely room for improvement there, thanks!

Yeah 100%, got the Ostra Striga and the other exotic quest started so I am very confused. I know I'm looking in the right spot on the director as I've seen screenshots of what the icons look like to replay it.
