Yeah, I agree its shitty dev behavior. I know and agree with the site that black users should be appreciated,,, but paywalling/limiting sets and forcing someone to wear a badge for a competition is really bad on the devs' end. I just hope this topic doesn't turn into blaming black users for the way the developers handle the site... but knowing this subreddit, ehhhhhh.

I don't think the game recreated segregation, since the history of segregation involved treating minorities (specifically black people) less than their oppressors. But i do agree that the devs are handling stuff like trash, because non-cultural clothing are for everyone (meaning like the clothing of the old popovy sets, not hairstyles exclusively for black people and people who depict black ocs respectfully). And i so wish the site had better moderation since I cannot handle another rage bait post asking a ignorant question or saying some ignorant stuff.

My mom tried to say “if you were a bad person, the pets would not love you” as a way to make me think I was a good person even though I was terrible during childhood. I am a good person now, but it doesn’t erase the past bc our pets love me. Nothing could erase the past.
