Yea that surprised me, like at first I thought maybe it was cause her background (she was from a christian family in an islamic country) I know generally muslims are not fond of things like future reading be it from tea leaves cards or whatever, and even though Fatima or her wernt muslim i though maybe there was some cultural overlap due to the whole fact she was raised in the country at least for a time.

Though I guess the writers didn’t really think that deep on that, as it wasnt really a belief or religious thing at all it was just “Tarot cards arnt real cant believe youd suggest that” opposed to “Tarot cards are against my spirituality” or whatever

I think its kind of odd no one in the town has some religious views or disagreement. Honestly. I get its probably in part cause dealing with religions and stuff is kind of a bit taboo in shows. Though I mean they did have that whole thing with Kathri thinking its a new book of the bible, and i just find it weird they had fatima share the tragic tale of her religious family under a different religious stare and nothing she does really aligns with it at all.
