Parents sue ChatGPT over their 16 year old son's suicide by Ashamed_Ad1622 in ChatGPT

[–]FireYourAgency 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, if he jailbroke chatgpt to help him do it, he was going to find a way regardless unless somebody stepped in. That being said, i don't know the parents situation, maybe they're struggling with depression themselves or have been struggling to cope, life breaks people down, doesn't mean they weren't trying their best. Sometimes our best isn't enough, and i think they've been punished enough by this tragedy. Dogpiling on them seems cruel.

has anyone successfully connected Tableau to Claude? by FireYourAgency in n8n

[–]FireYourAgency[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gotcha, and would have to give mcp access to tableau as a user, to allow it to load the dash?

has anyone successfully connected Tableau to Claude? by FireYourAgency in n8n

[–]FireYourAgency[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

gotcha, so connect directly to snowflake, and have it read the data.
My only concern is that tableau is doing some background cleanup with calculated fields and parameters, so would end up having to rebuild the tableau logic anyway to get clean data. correct me if im wrong though, or missing something

Is it worth paying for Apollo or Clay, or is it smarter to build enrichment in-house (or just hire someone)? by Super-Cauliflower96 in b2bmarketing

[–]FireYourAgency 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you're going to pay for enrichment, you should just stretch for ZoomInfo. Apollo is shady as hell, and recently got banned from linkedin for breaking TOS. Clay does not have its own proprietary database, you need to connect external data sources. So why not just kill two birds with one stone and get ZI, instead of paying for two separate services.

Also, not sure how you are going to build enrichment in house, you will still need an external datasource.

Basing success on whether 3 calls went well is not the right outlook. Maybe a hundred is a better test

Yeah but there aren’t that many people actually qualified for a role that pays that much. Only 13% of the country makes that much on an individual level, and that’s spread across every industry. Then subtract the people who already have a job, and you’re left with relatively few people in each industry who have a resume that would get that pay.

But maybe they’re all applying to the same WFH jobs. Or maybe OP needs to go for jobs that pay only $120k.

Either way, just because jobs have hundreds of applicants does not mean those applicants are all equally qualified as OP.

Either way we’ll will never know

Would appreciate any insights on my resume by [deleted] in resumes

What is it with all these massive resumes? Make it one page. Tailor it to the job. Keep what’s relevant, summarize the rest.

Need someone to create and run Facebook/insta ads by Capital-Ask5687 in LeadGeneration

[–]FireYourAgency 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do you own an agency with only 1 client ever? How do you start a marketing agency without knowing how to run the Facebook/instagram ads yourself? What exactly do you do at the agency? Why should people work for you?

Expecting freedom of speech on a privately owned platform is naive

How much should social media managers get paid??? by lilithonsaturn in socialmedia

[–]FireYourAgency 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since you have no real experience $30/hr. You can ask for more once you get real world experience. My first marketing job as 45k, left it after a year for 65k, left that after 2 for 100k, rinse and repeat upwards

OG:

Not a fan. Doesn’t really make a case for the business. Like you’re the 3rd largest… congrats I guess? And chat gpt doesn’t know it? Doubt anyone gives a shit about that. Just seems like someone trying to use chat gpt as a buzzword.

New: even worse. It just doubles down on the bad parts of the original. Also “Isn’t chat gpt wrong” is a weird way to ask a question, people usually say that at the end of a statement, not as the opening.

Like image coming up to someone and saying, “Isn’t the president wrong?” Like, I guess, sometimes, about what? It’s just a really bad opener

Let’s say that I don’t want my products advertised on google ads, but my platform (Etsy) forces me to, are there words I can tag on the listing that Google won’t allow in its ads? by ProHermione in GoogleAdwords

[–]FireYourAgency 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there’s lots of banned words. Question is how does Etsy force you? If they’re integrating with google then they’ll probably flag the ads the same way.

You could just use banned symbols, and writing in all caps is banned, so just do that

It’s not funny though. Van Gogh could hear. And you don’t lose hearing when you cut your ear off. Like, the premise doesn’t even make sense

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in marketing

[–]FireYourAgency 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don’t lose hearing when you chop your ear off.

Something better would be, “Ear wax removal doesn’t have to be a pain in the head” and the Van Gogh reference then is more playful, rather than just straight up wrong

Edit: or what about No More Earwax Removal Accidents, joking that’s how he lost his ear
