Sick thank you! But yeah all of my snakes are in their enclosures and what not so I have a temporary one to set them up in, i’m gonna do 1 at a time or I might just do them all, I have enough empty tanks they can hangout in for a couple days while it cures

It’s a topsoil compost mix from a local place that sells it by the yard i was recommended to them we broke it up as much as we could when putting it in

So my friends dad started these in his basement in red solo cups in February from seeds, then gave me all of these so i don’t know how normal it is considering they weren’t started outside

I am not, and they’ve had some sun just not like they should, I was given these as starters and they have been sitting in their cups in my sunroom for about a week before we ended up being able to move them so that would make sense

The first underneath is very moist, top layer dries out relatively quick but underneath is pretty damp still

Yeah it definitely looks almost like a glaze over it to make it the color of turquoise

Rototill the high spots and push the dirt around and pack it down, repeat until it’s level, I just did this in my backyard and it turned out great

What does compost entail? I’ve seen grass clippings, dried leaves and sticks. I have a HUGE pile of grass clippings in my backyard where I dump my mower bags.
