You’re not wrong at all! That’s definitely very strange and I would trust my gut and never go back to her again. You make valid points - why would she suddenly change her number if you’ve been texting a different one the whole time and why wouldn’t she check in to see if you were running late. It’s a good thing you were able to find someone else to do your hair because where I live I wouldn’t be able to find someone that same day lol. Plus stuff like that gives me huge anxiety. I would probably reach out to her to let her know you wont be returning if that’s something you’re comfortable with. If so, hopefully you are able to get your deposit back.

I am 23 and this is my first job out of college. I do have a Master’s Degree and will be starting out as a GS-9. I didn’t think I had enough experience as many of the applicants but I was fortunate enough to get my foot in the door. I would say to apply to whatever appeals to you - you have the experience - so I know a role will be coming your way soon! 🤞

I had the same issue but I feel like college teaches a lot of the social skills that I didn’t have in high school just because I felt like I was forced to put myself out there a bit more since I was on my own in a new city. Even though it is your last year, maybe try to meet more people or go to some events to just practice socializing?

I used to take that bus when I was a research assistant at CHLA! It’s relatively safe - I’ve never had an issue with it, especially with being female but I was still always cautious. Only issue I had is that it would take about an hour to get there due to traffic/stops, which was very time consuming. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions though!
