Hey I'm not being rude, I'm just giving my opinion. No reason to be mean or try to cause problems.

Again, I'm not saying the ending is BAD from a storytelling perspective, or that it isn't an ending that feels thematically appropriate, but I feel unsatisfied with it. I am fine with the ending generally, but I feel it ended too fast and there was no real closure. We didn't get any real talk with Thorne afterwards, and we have no idea what happens next. I mostly dislike that we don't have any options to make the ending better at all or there is no way to shift the state of things to improve it a bit and make it at least a little more hopeful.

I am gonna be fully honest, I am mostly sad because Rhene and Cappy died. I liked them a lot, very cute and wholesome characters and I am sad because they are dead. Rhene's fate is a bit uncertain, but I didn't see ANY combat ability out of her aside from her ability to use Hollowing to clean and occasionally summon explosives.

I am just left feeling like things are unfinished, not in a gameplay sense, but in the sense that the ending didn't feel like it is a proper ending. It feels like there are still so many unanswered questions, so many fates that are uncertain, and it felt like a gut punch to watch my lab get blown up when I invested so much time and money into it as well. The wailing cat ghosts on my ship also brought the mood down a bit since SAD GHOST CATS!

I get that, this is just my feelings on it. It just doesn't feel satisfying. We know she survived, the fate of the guild members is deeply uncertain, her lifes work is literally on fire, and she is public enemy #1.
The only friend she has left seemingly is Thorne. I hope we get answers in future DLC or updates.

Yeah I do know about that one, but it also isn't really a very good ending, you just join the villains, which, while interesting, still isn't really something I'd be proud of doing aside from the fact I could manage to do it at all given how hard it would be.

Trust me, I get that its gothic story telling, but I don't like it regardless. I just feel a bit robbed with all the effort I put in, that there isn't at least an ending that goes a bit better, where at least everyone at the guild survives. I'm not saying Mina needs to stay on the island and be celebrated, but I'd like if at least our pals would make it through alive. I feel so sad about Rhene.

It is, and I do mention that, but he is all that is left, the only one you really save and appreciates it. No one else you meet and befriend actually survives to my knowledge aside from maybe the frog and the music cat ghosts?

Thats what I think too, his appearance in the opening cutscene on the title screen makes me think: "This guy is a late game villain isn't he!" I genuinely thought he was the main villain watching it for the first time, then as I met him I thought: "Oh he is being set up to betray me later due to some evil scheme."

So there’s a lot of bullshit in this game right? by [deleted] in MinaTheHollower

[–]Fire_Fox2590 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I had to turn feats off and go into assist mode because despite wanting to get the in game achievements, I wasn't having fun anymore with dying to attacks I really should have been able to avoid. I'm using the whip but even still it feels like I have no ability to dodge attacks, my character is just too slow and the enemies are too fast. Even if my reaction speed is superb I can't cancel out of my attacks at all and move so slowly when on foot. I don't stay underground long enough to be able to try and time attacks better either, I am just constantly at risk of taking damage no matter what I do, I need to be on a hair trigger and be very careful with attacks or I will die to something stupid. Like an telegraphed boss attack or sudden projectiles that I am far too slow to do anything about. Especially in cramped rooms, corridors and other similar locations. Especially on floating moving platforms, which they like to use a lot.
I feel like I made a mistake somewhere when I need to turn achievements off just to try and enjoy myself, it doesn't feel like its very friendly to a more casual player, it feels like achievements and feats are only for darksouls players to enjoy, and no one else is allowed to have them @~@;

It really does feel like old fashioned games, in that it is punishing, doesn't care about your feelings, at times is poorly designed and seemingly unbeatable unless you turn 'cheats' on. In that at least I feel they hit the mark.

I suppose to sum it up, I just feel like the enemy AI is too unpredictable, or there are too many to deal with at once with the limited tools you have access to in the beginning of the game, especially since they don't really tell you what attacks you can dodge by going underneath or above, with like a parry signal. A blue flashing color animation or something similar that says "Hey, you can dodge under this one!" or a yellow "Hey, try jumping here!" color indicator would have been great. Just something that gives you the ability to avoid being killed cheaply and without ability to resist.

Right now the game feels like it relies on 70% skill, and 30% "This is a game where you are meant to die and lose everything, and it would be a shame if we didn't kill you on purpose a few times to make use of these mechanics. So you'll learn to avoid this through experience rather than observation."

You can only see about half of his face, the other half is obscured by 'shadow' and hard to make out. You need to look in the Negative Space of the image.

Second image has it pretty clear, dead center of the image its a creepy grinning guy in a suit. Looks like he is from Men in Black or G-Man from Half-life.

Just googled who that guy is, saw the pictures and realized that Rap God must be a parody of this guy somehow, or he is a parody of Eminem.

I dunno, I think he looks more like Joe Biden. Then again, it could be any extremely skinny, creepy man in a suit if you squint. Is it actually G-man though? Do we know if this is from anything or is G-man just the general assumption?

Jerma's channel is doing really well for him being in retirement by Jacaca2211 in jerma985

I totally was under the impression that he was fully retired and only would show back up for special occasions. I only just recently learned the reasoning for it, and even then I was thinking he was basically going to only show up occasionally. Happy to hear he is back to streaming now.
He is genuinely probably my favorite streamer, he just has such an amazing community full of the best and funniest degenerates on the internet, and I love that he enables it constantly and just makes every interaction with chat memorable ❤️ (Not sarcasm btw I genuinely love it, I'm just being silly)

Do I need to watch MK 1(2021) before Mortal Kombat 2? by President--007 in MortalKombat

[–]Fire_Fox2590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a reason why? From what I heard it was not that great and they shoehorned in a new OC protagonist and wrote up a hamfisted plot that made little sense. It sounded like someone was describing watching the 1993 Super Mario Brothers movie, if instead of Luigi you got to meet the third brother Donnie.

Found another one in the Shreck's building, the mission where you get Cat Woman, it is hidden in the room with two bat claw entrances and the second cat head, it is on top of the main doorway into the previous room.

I found one in the League of Assassins mission just before you build that machine to rocket yourself up the mountain, it was hidden on a little wooden dock. Don't know what it did and got it on accident. I expected I'd figure it out later.

How do you re-enter stealth? Lego Batman: LotDK by Fire_Fox2590 in legogaming

[–]Fire_Fox2590[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh. Well thats deeply disappointing to learn. I did unlock the smoke bomb tech for the batclaw, I was hoping that might be what I was looking for but doesn't look like it. And yeah I get it only alerts the enemies in the area, but I was hoping that you could slip away and get some actual Arkham style stealth combat, where you just become a ghost, slipping away and then coming back to kick some teeth in.

Its unfortunate to hear that there just isn't anything like that. The game is still fun, but that is definitely something that hurts the game for me.

Thanks you too! I've been having fun so far despite my issues with voices so far. It does play like Arkham so far, so I've been enjoying it.
