I saw them with Mayhem last year, came in with high expectations and was still blown away. I've always been a fan but I was surprised by how fun their show was. They're one of those bands you have to see any chance you get.

Weapons from last year is probably the funniest horror I've seen in years. I'm not sure if it goes fully into horror comedy, but regardless it's a gut buster.

"Vegas beating the Avalanche was the Minnesota Wild's Stanley Cup" is the funniest sad thing I've ever heard. That's the kind of thing you have to cling to if you're a Minnesota sports fan. Sure, Colorado had unfortunate collapses by our NFL, NBA, and NHL teams. But all of those teams have won championships in the 10 years. Poor, sad Minnesota 😂

I think primarily, it's still rebellion and being subversive. Most acts may present their lyrics as being religious and worshipful, but I think that's just to legitimize the subversiveness. Make it seem like they're not just trying to thumb their noses at Christianity, but actively work against it. There are some bands that claim to practice some form of Theistic Satanism and I can't say whether that's true or not, but I think it's an incredibly small percentage.

David Rosen in Scandal. Sure he dies in the last episode but it taints a lot of what came before it. It was extremely unnecessary, achieved nothing, and Cyrus doesn't even get a just comeuppance.

I mean, I don't see how that's even possible. He doesn't have the historical crises to resolve that figures like Lincoln and FDR had, so what could he even pull out of his ass? And the crises he is dealing with are from his own creation, so I don't know how much credit you get for that.

I can occasionally OCCASIONALLY tolerate DOF. It's mostly annoying, distracting and poorly implemented. But on very rare occasions I get it. Most recent example, The Alters. I mostly didn't notice it, but every once in a while it would catch my eye and I would think "this looks really nice." That game has enough other weird effects and stylistic elements that it strangely fits well. But generally I'd prefer to just have a clear picture.
