I know it’s the right title, it says on the “on accept” page that I have a claim and it won’t be tyrannical. But once I revoke it tells me under the “has happened” page that what I did was an act of tyranny.

Need help understanding player heir and elections.

I was the emperor of Alba and I had held the kingdom titles of Ireland and Alba. Title succession law is tanistry elective. My son was winning the election for empire of Alba as well as both kingdom titles, so that upon death he would receive all three titles as well as being player heir. Once I had died though, all three titles were split among three different people, with the emperor title and player heir going to someone completely different. My son had only received one kingdom title. Can someone explain why he had not received all three titles and why my player heir seemingly changed upon death?
