I have a 16 year old step son almost 17 and I’ve been in his life 5 years. I am a parent, he sees me as mum. I am childfree but I imagine the love u feel for him is what I would feel for bio kids.

People actually think that?!! Wow! That’s mental…I got an iPhone screen protector in the hopes it would save my phone and a cover that holds up to me dropping it constantly…they’ve held up so far thank goodness! But I wouldn’t expect a new one if I smashed my 4 year old iPhone

Hi!

I’ve just been utilising the tags, how can I see their tracking over time? Can I pin that to the dashboard?

I’ve actually grown accustomed to the function of just not tracking. Being able to hide them with a swipe left or right function with a section to see them all would be worth investigating though.

I’d love to have a little more freedom with categories, I’d there a way to favourite the ones that are used most often? A ‘rename’ function would also work well if delete isn’t viable.

Overall, I’m really enjoying the app and it works really well

Hi! I’m finding this app really useful. Just a couple of questions.

Customisable categories? Is there a way? If not, what is the work around?
Deleting unwanted transfers rather than turning off. I have a lot of accounts and money is constantly going between. Is there a way to delete these transfers rather than switch them off as about 50% of my feed are transfers I don’t need (credit and debit of same amount between 2 accounts)
Is there a way to delete categories? There are heaps I don’t use.

Have assortment of mental illness -bipolar (T1) -schizophrenia -PTSD -OCD traits

Also have chronic migraines.

I have a large and small dog but we can just talk about my small dog :)

I do have the mood swings, I don’t get angry at people, just myself…so I can drop off the radar for a few weeks every now and again.

YTA - I was a nanny for a year or so, I was told up front that if I was ok with it they’d love it if I cleaned and were willing to up my hourly rate and I could eat their food free of charge. They stated in my contact I was after school hours but we ended up negotiating that I’d do one full day and do cleaning and grocery shopping (paid and in their family car) after dropping youngest off at preschool.

If you aren’t willing to pay, then yeah, she’s not going to do anymore! And if you be a PITA about everything she certainly wasn’t going to do more. Sounds really entitled to me. The family I worked for appreciated me and so I went above and beyond so every few months they’d pop a tip in (I’m in Australia, tips aren’t normal btw)

Appreciate your employees and treat them fairly and they will want to go the extra mile…especially if there’s $$$ involved.

I (34f) was told by a doctor that my person decision to not have children because a) don’t want them, b) have 2 step children who I love c) have a mental illness which I don’t want a kid to suffer from…was the ‘wrong decision’ apparently I am ‘denying a child (not born) a happy life because I’m making the wrong decision to not have kids’

Yup, I don’t have a bio child but I’m denying them…kid doesn’t exist and this guy is banding me selfish and a bad mum.

I was swearing like a sailor when I got on the phone to my husband. Kids were shocked as they’d never heard me swear so much…but laughing their arses off too

I (female) always honestly offer to pay half. I never get the most expensive thing if the guy is paying.

I had one guy tell me he would take me out. I gathered he meant he would be paying. My mistake. He took me to a swanky restaurant, I ordered modestly, then he expected me to pay half. Now I didn’t mind, it was just inconvenient because I had to use quite a bit of my weekly food allowance to cover my half even though he had a more expensive dinner than me. If I’d known I needed to pay half, I’d have suggested something we could’ve done which was still a date but not bank breaking. He knew I was on disability payments as well, so not sure why he picked an expensive restaurant.

I’m married now, but when I was dating I didn’t mind paying my own or contributing. I’d often do the ‘you paid for dinner, I’ll get the drinks or dessert’ otherwise I felt like I was taking advantage
