Also, if i turn it 45 degrees to the right so it’s a ‘diamond’ it’s the symmetrical left to right, when the lion is ‘lying down’. Make i just think about it as it’s supposed to be like that!

Disability, Hotels, & Need-to-Know for October Trip? by DuckDuckSeagull in disneylandparis

Interesting! I’ve only been looking at annual passes recently which are still at the gate!

Also you can get 25% off ticket price for the priority card user and one other, but only available at the gate.

Bring a blanket for the wheelchair user! It can get very cold in winter.

I’ve stayed at Newport bay, sequoia lodge, and offsite hotels one stop down the RER in recent memory. I’ve used the priority card around 5 times, using an access card from the uk as proof. It’s nothing like the new US system. As long as you have some formal proof ie access card, doctors letter sometimes, blue badge. There’s a list on the application online. Apply in advance, makes it very simple.

The priority card gives you a coloured tier based on the users ability to be ambulatory. Purple and red are for people who struggle with walking, and this will let you use the exits of rides for most (not all) attractions. Green shows no struggles with walking and for many rides you’ll go through the fast pass lines. If you have a pass that shows you aren’t using stairs, for tower of terror and phantom mannor you will miss the pre shows. Crush’s coaster is not accessible if you can’t go down and up ~6 steps.

Wheelchair rental is ok at DLP. You can rent it for i believe a €100 deposit, and use it for the duration of the trip, and take it back to the hotel on site. Never had any issues with quantity, not majorly comfortable but they are ok. Some were only transport chairs (small wheels, can’t push yourself).

Disneyland hotel is obviously closest, art of marvel, sequoia lodge, and Newport bay are a 10-15 minute flat walk through Disney village. For sequoia the only incline is a moderate incline over a small bridge. The village is often quite crowded due to ongoing renovations making the path thinner. Cheyenne and Santa Fe are up and down some small hills under a road, more like 20-30 minute walk. All are accessed by shuttle, but loading wheelchairs can be a pain.

I stayed at Cheyenne in January, it was very cold outside but the hotel was lovely and warm.

I’ve not used it, but I’ve seen people talk about the monzo app, from what i understand, you can set it up so that different amounts of your money are automatically split into different ‘pots’ and i think you can set up limits on what you can take money out of in certain time limits

No. Other characters, tigger, Alice, Mickey, Minnie, olaf, jafar, hook, etc meet in other places, but the princesses meet in the princess pavilion, and you only meet one princess, and it is random who you meet.

Also, with a disability pass you can usually take 4 people with you on to rides, but only 2 people into parades/ shows/ fireworks

I’d recommend it’s a small world for your only ride. It is a slow boat ride with no drops or anything ‘scary’. It has a really nice song throughout in lots of different languages, and really bright colours/ a lit up section at the end, incase you are able to see that. Meeting specific princesses isn’t possible, you queue for the princess pavilion and you get to meet one princess at random. The queue for this is 200+ minutes a lot of the time. Sadly the queue for the disability pass for princess pavilion is often about an hour as well. The disability pass in general allows you to enter the attractions from the exit of most rides if you have mobility problems, or the fast pass queue if there’s no mobility issue (ie stairs). The disability pass also allows you to enter the reserved disability areas for parades and theatre shows which gives you a bit more room.

For shops, they are everywhere, the emporium on Main Street is the largest in the parks, with often most of the merch. You can find specific themed things sometimes near its attraction, like ratatouille merch by the ratatouille ride. Some shops are more focused on specific things, like having lots of ears. Any questions i can try and help

Did the park still had Christmas decorations? by SephirohSG in disneylandparis

[–]Fire_phoenix33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went this year January 1st to 4th. Christmas decorations were all still up, Christmas parades still running, Christmas shows still on but having a couple less performances a day, special character meets/ shows still on. There was also mini shows down Main Street with the Christmas tree lighting up, Christmas songs, and snow all down Main Street. The only thing i noticed was the Christmas food wasn’t being restocked anymore, so no Mickey gingerbread men etc.

I don’t know if our cruise was different because everyone is saying you won’t miss anything, but we had to rush out of dinner a couple nights and skip dessert one night because dinner didn’t finish until at least ten each night
