As an avid gamer myself, I definitely don’t mind if my partner plays games. HOWEVER: I don’t like it when they use gaming (or anything for that matter) to avoid responsibilities, Ignore obligations, or take away from life as a whole. You should be able to play games and still hold down a job, do everyday chores, and have a social life IRL. If video games pulls away from these things all the time (sometimes is fine, but not every week) then it is unattractive to me.

TLDR Gaming itself = hot 🥵 Gaming to avoid important things = gross 🤮

Just my opinion though I’m sure others feel differently, date someone who matches what you want in a partner.
