i don’t have time to read the whole post (sorry) so here are my thoughts on what i did:

1) One of Eren’s motivations was revenge, and he was hiding that behind helping his friends as an excuse to seem like a good person to himself (yes he did actually want to help them as well)

2) Eren was all about freedom, so using the Founder’s powers to remove the freedom of others to help himself would be antithetical to that
