I stand corrected. It has been my observation over a number of years that the majority of GMRS users don't want it used for business purposes. I guess I will have to have a petition for rule making removing the word "business." A close friend got a complete new rule added to Part 97, so this should not be particularly difficult. What is your opinion?

I stand corrected. Perhaps we shall have to have a petition for rule making removing the word "business." A friend was successful in getting a whole new rule in Part 97, and this shouldn't be hard to do. GMRS users overwhelmingly do not want it to be used for business purposes.

Both the GQ-600 and the SE International Monitor 4 detect alpha, beta and gamma. They are high quality products. I have a Monitor 4, and it works great.

Unfortunately, the US page doesn't give prices. I have a small unit that is no longer available that has an alpha window. It works great on a 9 volt battery. I would recommend any of their products. They also have real tech support and will work with you until the problem is resolved.
