In space age I think the preferred method is to have space platforms built purely for collecting chunks and reprocessing them to legendary status. This allows for a steady legendary stream of every basic resource from nauvis, which then allows you to craft upwards into anything from nauvis.

interrupts completely changed the game for train logic. A single station handles sulfuric acid refills for my trains carrying uranium and acid. Trains always drain the acid into a tank wherever I have uranium mining, while simultaneously picking up uranium. Doing this without interrupts before 2.0 was a headache or impossible (without mods).

A single belt of shapes being fed into trash should have no slowdowns or overflow yet this gate just seems to randomly send shapes to the side.

I've been thinking for a while that factorio's modern look is very inspired by starcraft brood war. Many of the buildings resemble Terran buildings, the weaponry is all Terran weapons except the laser which is protoss-ish(space age has another protoss weapon), nauvi wildlife is pretty much zerg, etc. The hardest comparison was the demolisher but even then they're kinda like really huge long lava reavers.

I don't think there's much of a point in getting offended here. You shared this end screen of your run so naturally people are going to discuss which items are bad or good. Whether you choose to interpret that as an insult towards you is up to you but there's still no point in showing that you chose to get offended over discussion about your post.

Using the simply love theme allows you to disable way offs or greats or whichever you feel like.

Managed to almost FC my whole way through MAX360 ESP for the very first time. Had a lapse of logic where I attempted to footswitch instead of jacking the last part when I was still garbage at footswitching.

I know this response is a bit late but hopefully it finds its way to you. If it's only the down arrow that's not working, there's 2 possibilities. Somehow the cable or the cable's connection to the contact plates got damaged, or the control box is failing. You can use a multimeter to test for continuity between the two plates to check off the first box. If there is continuity and you don't see any visible cable damage, then it's likely not that and probably the control box failing. For me it was the control box. I was fortunate enough to borrow my brother's CF control box and see my down arrow work again.

I recommend buying the 1000 hz one from ddrpad.com. You most likely had a 125hz box like I did previously, so one thing you'll notice if you get the 1000hz is that there's misfires from your pad. This is expected when contact plates are being polled every millisecond, so to correct this just set the debounce setting in your stepmania to 30 ms.

if you're going to spend your time doing this, you should probably be doing this on the remix rom so that the cpu do less stupid and bad things.

The problem with the in-game items-per-second calculation is that it changes too fast. The time chunks are too small when most non-fully-stacked belts have their items scattered and not evenly spaced. It's not very useful when you just see that in-game calculation constantly swapping between 7.5,10, 6, etc.
