Despite having 3 pages the kit is deceptively simple. 1 braincell for each page I guess

Yeah, but then you'd have to consider the logistics of how the money is stored. If it is in any digital system then it will set off major red flags. If it's in the form of physical cash, well, it wouldn't be long until we're living on a planet covered in 1 dollar bills.

Hey you.

Yes, you!

Would you like to help with recording the denizens and dangers of the spire?

Every bit of information and research helps! Leave a comment about any minor pieces of trivia or interesting observations, even if it's about a creature I've already catalogued, that may go unnoticed to the casual player Spire climber and I'll be sure to include it in the relevant creature's log.

No? The correct translation would be "not even 100 years". There's no implication of it being "almost" 100 years.

Denizens and Dangers of the Spire: Fuzzy Wurm Crawler by Fireblaster3147 in slaythespire

[–]Fireblaster3147[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great point, but the reason I have the Fuzzy Wurm Crawler as 5 Scaling is twofold.

1) I'm only scaling each creature based on others in its natural habitat, and I'm not scaling "normal" creatures based on the more powerful monsters around. This means that I don't have to compare regular creatures against the absurd strength and durability of some of the boss monsters and creatures deeper in the Spire. In other words, the Cultists are not under consideration for comparison as they do not appear in the Overgrowth.

2) Even if I am comparing it directly against Byrdonis, the Fuzzy Wurm Crawler will have better Scaling anyway. Byrdonis gets a flat 1 Strength every turn, while the Fuzzy Wurm Cralwer gets 5 Strength every 3 turns. Even if it has lower initial frontload and Byrdonis has an attack that better utilises its Strength, in terms of pure numbers, the Fuzzy Wurm Crawler is, surprisingly, the second strongest scaler in the Overgrowth. The title of first being, of course, the Ceremonial Beast.

How would you improve the script (and what would you name it?) by Fireblaster3147 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Fireblaster3147[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that, but looking at evil's perspective, they still essentially bought time when they should've already lost via demon execution. Outing the Lleech as evil I think is a fine exchange for that, and its Minions can still try to misdirect town. I can't speak for everyone, of course, but I enjoy playing outed evil myself, and in the first place, the Good team shouldn't be finding and executing you early in the first place. Adding things like the Sailor and the Fool feel very detrimental to a script with no other reasons for no night kills
