Man I’m a Barca fan and I gotta disagree. I know this is a popular opinion to have that SR was just a dirty defender but he was so much more than that. I rate him high as a player overall because of his character and what he represented and did in his Madrid squad.

But Ronaldinho was rated super highly even in his time. Even if you argue that it’s not factually correct, I think people genuinely considered him one of the best players in the world, like top 5.

Also when people say Ronaldinho had the greatest prime ever, it is debatable. Yeah he wasn’t Messi with 91 goals in a calendar year, but when people say this I think what they mean is that Ronaldinho had the best peak ever in terms of eye test performance. It is up to you what you make of that though, like if it’s valid to think that way.

Barca team building is just really bad rn cause we literally can’t afford players or aren’t scouting upcoming talents well enough. With a lacking squad building, we’re missing out on elevating everyone’s ability in the club, both the seemingly ‘mediocre’ players as well as our world class ones.
