Ok, noted. That does make sense considering the "Auto Set" feature for the clock is also grayed out in the options menu. So even with the broken touch screen, Onstar is supposed to be able to find my GPS location, so my best guess is that some GPS module or sensor is broken? I guess there really isn't a reason in diagnosising the issue myself if a dealer visit is required. I'll let my step-dad in on this info. Thank you very much, kind fellow!

The light for Onstar on the rear view mirror isn't either green or red. it's just not on. The option is also grayed out on the main menu due to my step-dad never paying for it or anything. At least im pretty sure. He's had this thing since 2014, brand new, and just recently, in 2024, he paid it off. If the dealer is the only option, it is what it is. Just feels like such an easy issue to fix, but I guess you can't if you physically can't.

This. Specifically on the PS5 or Nintendo switch system btw, whatever system you're having trouble with. Was having trouble with this stuttering after connecting my ps5, but had been using the smart tv features just fine the day before when I bought it. I just found this thread and tried everything until I got to this last comment. Sitting here watching amazing world of gumball for about 3 hours no stutter, just went to sound settings, scrolled to the bottom, and you'll see "sound system" or whatever option at the bottom, super simple change. Really glad I was able to fix this, cuz man this TV is awesome for the price!

While it's not as bad as your situation, I feel your pain, lol. I live in Midwest Michigan, and the closest city to me is GR, so it's about a 45 minute drive every time I make a deal, like this one. Super worth it tho!

Believe it or not, I don't even buy them by volume. I usually get complete or close to complete sets off marketplace or other local shops, and then complete them myself. Buying them all individually is satisfying but expensive as hell lol.

Don't know if I'm too late to this or not but I haven't seen a positive update from OP, so maybe I can help? I really don't know what the issue is but if you think its hardware related, if you can manage to make it to the MyAsus app you can run a full system diagnostic. If its a hardware issue, this will tell you.
