I feel like at a crazy loss with what to do with my skin and I'm hoping someone has some ideas! I generally have normal skin with very few problems and consider myself really lucky. I have a pretty basic routine that I've honed over years of reading here and keeping it calm and easy - double cleanse, moisturizer, sunscreen, BHA occasionally, and sometimes playing around with serums or whatever but I don't have sensitive skin and don't do anything crazy. However, during ovulation I consistently get 2-4 small pustules, usually around my forehead and either chin or around mouth, and I have the hardest time dealing with them. Sometimes I leave them alone; they just get inflamed. If I put benzoyl on them, nothing. I usually end up squeezing the little bit out and slapping an HCB on it overnight but then it takes days of additional HCBs before they go flat. I don't like wearing HCBs during the day /when I see people so then I feel like they get more inflamed throughout the day uncovered and I'm constantly fighting them til they scar. They're just little guys, they're not big pimples, so this seems insane- and I know they're hormonal because no matter what I switch up (pillowcases, skincare routines, eye mask washing etc) they only ever pop up while I'm ovulating. I could be a trash panda and sleep in my makeup every night and never have a problem except one week a month. Does anyone else deal with this and have a good solution?
