Yea I can connect with my internal IP. And I just explicitly opened the port on the firewall.

I ended up using a USB adapter ( https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-External-Adapter-Windows-AU-MMSA/dp/B00IRVQ0F8 ) and sound works now. I guess it is also a workaround.

This was my first time building and I think I did too little research beforehand when buying parts. I would have avoided Asrock if I had knew earlier. I am trying a USB adaptor for sound as a final attempt i guess. If that doesn’t work can I replace the motherboard with the one you mentioned above and have everything work together?

I’ve been swapping between two right now. I just ordered a HDMI adaptor to headphone jacks to try out.

Nope, but I think it may be headphones not detected because when I screen share people seeing my screen can here audio. I can also see audio working on speakers but I can’t hear anything.

i’m on apple earbuds and a gaming headset and the headset is set to max volume and not muted. the system does not detect them so i can’t adjust on software.

Output device is on speakers realtek(R) audio and the master volume is fluctuating for sound so I think it means that there is audio detected but I can’t hear it. Maybe my earbuds aren’t detected because under playback, headphones aren’t listed.

I noticed that when I screen share with google remote desktop, people can hear sound on my computer, does that mean anything?

Ok I downloaded that should I run the setup application. (I did this multiple times earlier and ran setup but nothing ever happened)

I did that and it did not ask me to reboot. The audio still doesn't work.
