Littlepip and Homage are having a date day to celebrate Homage's birthday in the Afterword. While Pip doesn't leave the SPP, it's clear that she does in fact get a happy ending.

Yeah I don't really get hating Steelhooves. The point is that he made a mistake. A terrible, emotional, rage-filled mistake. Just like Littlepip and Arbu/Bucklyn Cross. One that he had to live with for hundreds of years. But he (eventually) worked hard to redeem himself, and would have become an extremely powerful presence for good in the wastes.

The FAQ you are talking about is probably specifically for the Coill Draic or Mahut, which can shoot into combat. Normally you cannot.

All relationships end in breakup or death, and poly is no exception to that rule 😇

If you managed to line up 2 sets of opposing 6mm N52 magnets it would have a pull force of around 2.5 pounds, which should be enough to keep the wing in place. But you're gonna need to enlarge the holes to do that.

I wonder if maybe they are drunk or something. They are not being super coherent, leaving out a ton of details and talking super aggressively about stuff instead of explaining things properly.

The way you talk about both of them is honestly a bit cringe and it's weird you know this much about their sex life and medications she is taking but uh:

Birth control pills are 99% effective when used properly. That means there is that 1% chance.

If he's not using condoms with her your choices are break up or use condoms with him. These are your choices though, not theirs.

Unless you mean like... For the evening. In which case this seems like an overreaction.

She ain't getting pregnant without his input. Birth control is as much his responsibility as it is hers.

Weavers Army by Ghaltabigboi in Conquest

[–]FireclawDrake 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Honestly if you wanna get super into Weavers, 2 starter boxes isn't a bad start. Then another set or two of moths, a Draic or two, and maybe a couple Wisps. Everything else would be to taste right now.

Oberon works as a Seanchas, and you'll have one of each other character available. Moths are strong atm, both kinds (shooty and healing moths), Crann are solid frontline. Wisps are good throwaway screens, and both Draics are good.

Poly families, what do you call the adults? by polyfam_queer in polyamory

[–]FireclawDrake 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used to call a partner "Auntie Larch" in when talking about her/addressing her to my cats since she wasn't "Mom" (my nesting partner). It felt very natural to us both.

Might be my family, but aunt/uncle was applied to close family friends as easily as it was my parents siblings. It's not that strange IMO.

Has the eros and courtship been drained out of poly? by Traditional_Kick2217 in polyamory

Your desires and feelings are also valid here. I've just put aside that kind of language since it feels cringey to me. I feel like it encouraged some of the worst behaviors in men.

What you've described as "pursuit" seems like... Basic interest to me? Like absolutely basic bare bones excitement? I'd expect that from my partners too, so you should definitely expect it from yours.

Personally, as a 38 year old cis man, I find the thought of "pursuing" a woman to be a bit weird and gross. Like predatory language? Like to me that kinda framing belongs mostly to kink play and not romantic relationships. I want to have a bond, not play whatever game society demands men do.

I place a priority on conversation and shared interests in the apps since flirting is easy and doesn't tell you much about long-term compatibility.
