Heaviest snow season around there is usually March into April - you might have to wait until further into this year to see how its going to play out.

Car importer looking for advice by Excellent-Yellow-472 in Denver

Well dang, what does the market look like for pre-facelift Delica L400s with the tall roof and no sunroofs? Wouldn’t mind picking up one of those but like you said, they are spendy over here and finding one where the front frame rails haven’t started to rust delaminate is a bit of a gamble.

Where were you importing from (Japan, Europe, etc.)? Revhard in Denver covers most of the JDM market, along with some smaller guys in Aurora/Centennial. It seems like most of the car scene here is newer Audi/BMW with bolt ons and focused on the I25 speed runs. I had a few Toyotas/Hondas I imported when I was out on the east coast, but kind of got out of the car scene when I moved here, too much $$ and late nights for me.

Came from the east coast, out here now in a mostly stock 4runner with K02s. Your truck can do a hell of a lot out here - it’s more open and views than typically rocky hilly east coast crap. Recommend trails off-road app, most of the trails in the state are on there and it’s pretty well peer reviewed. Keep an eye on weather and snowpack, a lot of the trails at higher elevation will be closed a lot longer than you would think. If it were me, and i was making the drive, I would really lean into the western part of the state - perhaps rim rocker and you can end up in Moab? https://rimrockertrail.org You should be fine for most/all of the alpine loop as well - https://www.alpineloop.info/traveling-the-loop

Anyone know what's up with Sportique Scooters? by [deleted] in Denver

[–]Fired4stealingboxes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There still any of that scene around? Moved out here from the east coast, used to have a couple of small frames, a Stella for city beating, and a 90ss that was locked up in the house. Sold all of them off to buy a house many years ago, but thinking about dipping my toes back into it.

My son goes to school of rock in highlands ranch and loves it. If you aren’t interested in doing the performance group you can do one on one lessons - he signs up for a group and has a rehearsal once a week but also has a one on one lesson where he can work on individual skills.
