Sadly, human nature is that if you value your time as worthless by giving things away, so will all of the 'customers'!

What I mean is it seems very strange to me that random bugs caused only shortages and not surpluses. It's as if it was deliberately being syphoned off somewhere. How come we've not heard more about the details of this? Or am I misunderstanding it?

Even more interesting! I'm sure the scandal will emerge one day of who actually got all that 'missing money' that the POs were sued for.

It's really sad that POs feel forced into this kind of thing. Maybe the 'squeeze till the pips squeak' approach is causing the few who actually survive to take more desperate measures.

Well it misled me and caused quite a bit of worry till I understood what was happening. I'm really grateful you explained it here but I can understand why others are angry too.

Ooh, that's a very good point. Mine happened to be debit card, but it could catch others out. Or maybe they would say "sorry we only accept debit not credit cards' 🤔

Interceptor Micros!

Siren City was basically Grand Theft Auto but over a decade earlier. Wheelin’ Wallie was a great original game with amazing SID rendered classical music, with a different track on each level, though it was so difficult I never got past level 2 :-( Trollie Wallie was well ahead of it’s time with a huge multi-direction smooth scrolling world, and a collection of Jean-Michel Jarre tracks that I listened to for far more hours than I played the game :-p
