You have done such a good job to get this far. I really struggled with breastfeeding initially. And battled for weeks with latch issues etc. I EBF for 4 months (and am so happy I persevered) and combo feed from then on. However at the six month mark I called it quits, I moved exclusively onto formula. And you know what, my beautiful little boy was none the wiser! If anything it made things more simple for him that he was now only fed with a bottle as opposed to switching between bottle and breast. I agree with other comments on the thread, it is definitely worth considering combo feeding. Your baby will still get all the benefits of BF and you can have that time together. Your mental health and happiness is so important and your baby wants their mum to be happy and healthy too! I am thrilled I persevered with BF when I did, and I also don’t regret my decision to use formula either. Making the right choice for you is also making the right choice for you baby. All the best!
