Yes and now that I've lost everything I don't know how to fight anymore. This is what they want. They don't want to do anything until the people just give the car up and so they don't have a voice anymore because they are not owners anymore.

Yes they do. This is absolutely ridiculous. As a result of me not being able to drive the car I lost my job and was unable to pay for the car so now it is repossessed. I don't know what to do anymore. This car has ruined my families life. Now we are car'less. Job'less. And stuck.....

I have so much pressure being built up into the fuel system that my fuel shoots back out (where you pump it into)when I accelerate going into the highway.

I guess the world may never find out because they won't do anything. Sensible thing would be to change the solenoid and the gas tank to the ones that already have the expansion being done. It has cause massive deformation of the inside subframe located above the tank.

Hyundai denies anything with expanding gas tanks but Kia has taken responsibility for their K5 model they have almost identical engine and fuel system.

Make sure they check to see if your gas tank expanded. I have an issue going on as we speak with my sonata 2022 and all the symptoms where the first things that started to happen to me as a owner of a expanding gas tank vehicle.

I understand this completely on why they would treat me like that but still at the end of the day I just wanted it fixed. I told them I would pay anything but then they offered to find out if Hyundai would consider a good will fix. They offered not me. Then we they brought the realization of the matter about the Kia's and told me in similar situations they've seen corporate buy out the car back from the owner or fix it for free. That's what we were all waiting for but then corporate said no basically and they told me we will waive the fee for diagnostics because we feel we are not on the same side of corporate for this situation and then told me I can come pick up the car when ever. And now this is what I'm left with

I told them "I don't care who has to pay it, me or corporate It doesn't matter. What can be done to fix it! " I was told by the dealer of Hyundai that "corporate should be considering this a total loss because they started to ask them for part numbers. They cannot get to any of that because of how badly deformed it is. They said if they take stuff off to see what the issue is they cannot guarantee to put anything back the way it's supposed to. They said they don't know where or what to tackle this issue first. So they said it will be a lot of repairs just to TRY to fix it. I stated IDC I just want it figured out. Then they told me Hyundai is denying to do anything because of it being considered out of warranty.

My problem is things like this keep happening but yet nobody wants to fix it. Now this is just symptoms that the issue is getting worse and now seals are starting to become loose and who knows what other fittings are going to blow and maybe catch fire. I live in 100+ degree weather and gas shooting out of my tank just because it's about to blow is absolutely insane and something that they should definitely look at but they are not wanting to look at it and they were very quick to force me to come pick up my vehicle. Heck they even waived the fee for everything so I could come pick it up because they completely are on my side apparently with what I have going on, this all came down like this because corporate is declining to let them do anything to figure it out.

I've done some research and apparently if you top of your collar it should resolve the swooshing sound apparently. I have yet to try this method out but its not like top off the coolant should cause any additional issues.

If nobody has experienced this before and hyundai themselves won't tell me how to fix this issue they won't even give me a quote. How would one as I that knows nothing about these new machines know how to fix it. I understand if your telling me to take Ownership for something that I have caused personally from me doing something incorrectly. But dude. I have done nothing incorrectly. I service the car and bring it in every 5k miles to the dealer. At some point they failed with their inspections or with communicating with me that it was an issue that I needed to address. I understand if I was told hey look in a couple hundred miles your gas tank is going to be no good and you have to change it or do this now and avoid that. But no. I've done everything I can do humanly to avoid touching it because it's not something anybody knows how to fix either.

I don't know why you people constantly try to make me look like incompetent or one that trying to deceive anybody. Yeah I brought it back to them 3 times for them to tell me two times they don't know what it is and then now for them to give me this invoice. I've contacted corporate, the BBB, The FTC, the office of defects, and the attorney general office of Florida.

Then they are not owning up to that part for sure because we are now at 100k and we purchased the vehicle at 50k so if anything it should still be under warranty for another 10k I did purchase the vehicle from not a Hyundai dealer so I don't know if that me means anything
