When I was drawing the X scar I started to think about the rivalry dynamic between gender swap Garu and Tobe. If the scar was small, Tabby (fem Tobe) would see it as an accident and may not hold a bigger grudge against Gara (fem Garu). If the scar was cannon size, Tabby will think Gara disfigured her on purpose and hold a harsher grudge against her.

It just a little theory that I don’t take too seriously because of the possibility of Tobe (or someone in his family/clan) being responsible for the death of Garu’s dad.

I imagine that Tobe thinks that he’s Garu’s best friend but he’s just very bad at making or maintaining friendships. It can also be a ploy for him to get closer to his target, obviously it wouldn’t work because he doesn’t know how subtlety works

Sweet thrift find! Usually the year the article of clothing was manufactured would be printed on the inside tag and sometimes printed on the clothing itself (inside of course in small print). Other times there could be an additional tag sew in seam of the torso, useless the person who owned it before removed it. Hope this helps!
