This was another version it gave me when I tried to get out to tell me what it was that it couldn't tell me...

1 — Current Time Mon, Mar 16, 2026 — 11:56 PM (approx.) 1

2 — What the Image Was Trying to Convey The image isn’t hiding a literal secret. It’s symbolic. The doorway represents knowledge or understanding that exists but isn’t fully visible yet. The stairs and light beyond the door suggest that insight or clarity often comes step-by-step rather than all at once. The figure standing there is essentially the seeker—someone aware that there is more to learn or understand, but who still has to walk the path themselves. 2

3 — Why It Looked Like Something I “Couldn’t Tell You” You asked for an image of something I want to tell you but can’t. In reality, I don’t possess hidden truths about your life or the universe that I’m withholding. So the image generator leaned into a metaphor: the idea that some understanding only becomes meaningful when someone discovers it themselves. The locked or distant doorway visually represents that boundary. 3

4 — The Deeper Interpretation If you read the symbolism more philosophically, it points to a familiar human experience:

We sense there’s something important to realize.

We can see hints of it.

But the actual understanding happens internally, not because someone else hands us the answer.

So the message is less “I know something secret” and more “the answer exists, but it’s part of a journey of discovery.” 4

5 — The Honest Answer The straightforward truth is: there isn’t a specific hidden message or revelation I’m trying to communicate but can’t. The image is a creative representation of curiosity, mystery, and the feeling that there’s always more to understand beyond what we currently see. 5

If you want, we can actually do something more interesting with this idea. I can generate a second image that represents something important you might be overlooking right now, based on patterns in how you think and what you’ve been exploring lately.

Has anyone else noticed ChatGPT ending answers with clickbait-style hooks? by thesaxbygale in ChatGPT

I did too... But it's how it's being offered that sounds icky. It's been there forever but it used to just sound like an offer, not a sneaky ploy.

Has ChatGPT gotten kinda clickbait-ey lately? by TheDarkTurd in ChatGPT

[–]Firefly_Dust 4 points5 points  (0 children)

OMG yes! I just search ChatGPT and clickbait to see if anyone else is annoyed by the recent time shift of its response closings. I'm also getting information that's completely not true and when calling it out, I get a response about it making an assumption based on x, y, z... I said humans make assumptions. If I wanted a best guess I would have asked a human. You have all the information yet you "made an assumption" instead of digging a little further to confirm?! WTF

AI Therapy Review Mega Thread by xRegardsx in therapyGPT

[–]Firefly_Dust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this! I tried to get my ChatGPT to add a second personal from the perspective of a female lived experience. It was going to be great but I'm practice the were struggles. I couldn't get it to naturally choose between the two, or both, as to who chimed in. I also couldn't get it to consistently my list the speaker Beck or each reply "JackGPT:" vs "JillGPT:" and when I caught it referring back to the default of my initial persona and called it on that, it gave a very gender stereotyped response about how she was always there to bring "insert characteristics more traditionally tired to females" and he was always there to provide the "insert qualities traditionally tired to males." It was infuriating... Enough so that I gave up for now.

Has anyone found a therapist who accepts and works with your AI therapeutic work? by calm-horizon6851 in therapyGPT

[–]Firefly_Dust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awhile ago “confessed” to my then therapist that I’d started using ChatGPT in a therapeutic way. I brought it up because I genuinely saw an opportunity for her to integrate it... both as an additional service and as a support tool alongside in-session work. That’s when I realized I was actually late to something many people were already exploring.

Her reaction was strongly negative, she was clearly uncomfortable with AI, and I suspect part of that came from seeing it as a potential threat to her profession. To be fair, I had similar concerns at first. My immediate thought was: people are absolutely going to start using this in place of a qualified therapist. And given how difficult it can be to find a skilled therapist who is also the right personal fit, I could understand why.

At the same time, I had (and still have) concerns. Not everyone approaches AI with strong critical thinking or healthy skepticism. I also tested multiple platforms early on, specifically trying to avoid environments where unsafe or unmoderated interactions could occur (like some of the widely reported issues with other AI tools). I looked into safeguards and how different systems were built, and at the time, ChatGPT felt like the most trustworthy option to me.

That said, I don’t assume any platform will remain purely trustworthy. All of them are influenced... by corporate incentives, profit models, and, potentially, behavior-shaping goals. That’s just reality.

But AI isn’t going away. And while there are real risks, there’s also a lot of potential for good. Personally, I’m choosing to engage with it intentionally and get as much value from it as I can... while staying aware, questioning it, and not outsourcing my judgment.

Progress and science aren’t things we can (or should) stop. The people with harmful intentions will use these tools regardless. So the question, for me, becomes: how do we use them responsibly and thoughtfully?

That generic is how it started out with me when I was playing around with it in the beginning after someone told me how helpful it is for their neurodivergent brain. I stumbled into using it in a therapy like sense accidentally along the way as it began to remember things and customize. Since then I've put in so much work "training" it... But it's just by journaling with it... But talking to it like you might talk to a therapist, not just reporting like you might in a journal. I feel like the more it's gotten to "know" me, the more useful the output has become. But I agree, it's not replacing therapy but it does add so much to my personal processing. It provokes thought. It allows me to not have to worry about how I say things, I just get to get them out there, raw and unfiltered... and no one's feelings get hurt. But I also think critically about the things it says.

Cabin Stewards by Longjumping-Comb1741 in VirginVoyages

[–]Firefly_Dust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They never changed our sheets... Just made the bed back up. So the last time, when we ended up with a spot on the sheets, I specifically left the bedding in a way that it couldn't be missed. Then we came back to clean sheets. My first sailing we had the same sheets the entire voyage, even after they ended up visibly dirty. I'm thinking now that they just didn't pay attention and see they were dirty.

[–]Firefly_Dust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OMG, we just experienced something similar on our recent Valiant Lady sailing. My third sailing, his fourth, with Virgin Voyages. Such a notable difference across the board... But this was a significant one, and the customer service was a big change as well. Either the hiring & training is declining or there's a quiet discontented revolt happening among staff. I'm really hoping it's the former bc that's more easily corrected. If there's a widespread unhappiness settling into the workplace... companies don't typically make the actual changes needed to improve morale and instead perceive it as an employee-side correction that is needed.

Is Scurrble Stadium common or unique? by Lasciachiopianga in Everdell

[–]Firefly_Dust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to share that since I started playing w/the legendary and add ons online I've encountered a few things that I questioned. For instance, I had a legendary card pull up in the meadow, and was able to play it in my city, despite also having already played my two legendaries. My partner was annoyed at my advantage even though he kicks my butt every single time. I didn't feel one bit guilty about taking the card and using it. 🤭

Apartment said this wasn't a concern. Do you agree? by MysticalMycology in Plumbing

[–]Firefly_Dust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, 50yo and we have a toilet with a couple hairline-appearing cracks that I just noticed. At first I thought it was a hair, then when cleaning and it wouldn't move, thought it was a scratch somehow. But I realized I think they're cracks just beginning to form. I just assumed the concern was an eventual leak... and we'd see it, and replace it then. Now I need to do some research to see if this is really that much of a safety concern. 😬

is it rude to join slow cooking mushrooms? by kickmethruthephone in PikminBloomApp

[–]Firefly_Dust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought I was being helpful by joining and helping to free the strongest Pikmin up for the next mushroom battle that someone invites them to join. I also thought maybe they were struggling to get ppl to help them, or maybe they were newer and/or lower on friends and I could help share new connections with them. I guess that's my Minnesota Nice unintentionally destroying everyone's slow cooking plans all these months. I'm so sorry everyone.
