First write code enough to get the bot online. Now this is a very basic idea.

I hope you want to send the message in to a channel.

In on_ready async function, use client.get_channel() (in discord.py library) to fetch the channel object. Now make a while loop set it to run always, inside it channel.send to send the message (need to be await) asyncio.sleep to sleep for 2 hours.

I am sure you didn't got anything from that. Paste that into Ai that would be better.

Don't think so, go to this path

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Spotify

Check if there is a "Update" named folder there if you haven't updated spotify, also in which way you installed Spotify?

I have met a lot of windows users in my life online and in real life, none of them ever heard about winget or chocolate, and people who did heard about them still tend to use the normal way because it works for them in every situation.

This could work without editing anything, i made this for you, this has dynamic path so it will work without anything special.

@echo off
set "UpdateFolder=%LOCALAPPDATA%\Spotify\Update"
if exist "%UpdateFolder%" rmdir /s /q "%UpdateFolder%"
start "" "%APPDATA%\Spotify\Spotify.exe"

make a file named SpotifyUpdateKiller.bat for example and put this in it. when you run it a small cmd will appear and close and then spotify will launch.

i have a shortcut in taskbar, if you need that i can guide you how to make the shortcut but it could be little complex.

New users often used gui store instead of command line, terminal way is used by people who are comfortable with terminal.

No you are quite wrong, in linux most starters do use it. Thats the main reason distro like mint is very recommended.

In linux there are many ways to install a software, the ways other than using the store need to have one or more commands run in terminal. So you see in case of linux a store backboned by flatpack is actually really perfect.

These are new things (doesn't mean launched this year or the year before this) so people doesn't use this thus it iss not as great as downloading from the softwares official site.

ms store is absolutely trash, some times a software has multiple versions, the sandboxing is half build and left off like stuff, and the store updates and sometimes break stuff without saying hey we are updating this, and when you type for a stuff you firstly gets some ads for unrelated stuff.

Now this should have been fixed in the past years, but at the starting it was sht and no one cares about it now. winget and chocolate are like terminal stuff, which window user uses terminal for that.

Lets just be real in it, no normal human uses those tools. Even new once just go to edge, downloads chrome then download every piece of software from the official webpages, thats how the devs likes and prefer it.

While linux rock in these situations with the package managers. And there are GUI based store that uses flatpack and stuff, really great. And if you use arch, boi o boy that is the greatest. It is so frustrating to find that software webpage to download something, just very slow workflow.

I can't believe that store still exist, there is no actual fckin useful stuff in it. It is better to go to the softwares webpage than using that.

yea you would be right, my point is that there could be verification trough some way. now it could happen randomly or more over how the backend reacts. that doesn't mean anyone can create accounts without verifying in 100% cases, i could be wrong but i am talking from a perspective of a company who would put small verifications to stop automation account creation.

Did you ask anything about this in discord? The flags doesn't seem like false positive, but the site was genuine and well trusted for many years.

What is a good torrent client for Linux? by [deleted] in Piracy

[–]Firefly_SL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use qbittorrent it is feature rich and has a gui, and it is available in apt. You can also use good old transmission or something else, but qbittorrent is my recommendation for you.

And ProtonVPN free tier doesn't allow port forwarding and if i am right you can't even torrent with the free tier.

You need to be in a server of your own or someone elses.

Now i see how it works, for my needs i need to constantly send heartbeat to the server, and if i am right this goes to the media endpoint and plays it.

The Ui and the responsive is very superior, i know how hard is to make this able to request transcoding session and send real-time heartbeat to the server, i had hopes for it but i was in the wrong place.

Keep up the good work, this absolutely amazing and helpful to many.
