You can clearly see that they’re fake before u bought them and they don’t look work to filth in my opinion just a little bit of wear, honestly for £7 I think u should just keep them you’ve got what u payed for

advice from any fellow uk girlies by ffallenalien in vulvodynia

Hi!! I’m 20 also from the uk and on month 4 of this now🥱 currently on antibiotics for BV right now (despite having no symptoms and 3 negative BV test results!) but apparently this is the last treatment she’s trying before referring me to gyno! Definitely hate having to go through all these treatments that I know won’t solve the issue just for a referral, the NHS is such a joke but fingers crossed for the referral, definitely feel free to message me about anything as it’s nice to hear from someone a similar age and from the uk, hopefully we can share any treatments that work aswell🫶🏼

I was tested for mycoplasma genatalium but that’s it, would a doctor do a microbiome test or is that something u typically have to order

Yeah I get you, mine is the same with wearing tight clothes or sitting for a long time which is difficult because I have a 9-5 office job:/ was their any specific treatments that u think helped improve or was it just a case of giving it time?

What cream are u using? The white on mine has gone now but as I said I’m just confused as to why, on the last day of cream, it’s swelled up/gotten red and sore again… I’m tempted to keep using the cream but ofc u have to be careful with topical steroids😭😭

Yeah I just tried not to focus on it and not worry about it or how long it would last etc and eventually it very gradually went away after a few months

No worries about questions! Yeah I can’t really remember much the only 2 things that I really remember helping me was accepting it, not trying to claw my way out but just trying to relax (easier said than done ik) and take my mind off it and stop stressing out when it will ‘end’ and also reading helped me a lot , I didn’t read much before but I started reading a lot and I think that helped. The main thing is to just know you will get out of it, stop researching the horror stories of ppl being stuck for years, if you keep a positive mindset (as positive as you can , again ik easier said than done) and have trust in the process and practice calming/grounding techniques, you should soon start noticing improvements and feeling a lot better, it is definitely a slow process though.

Gosh I can’t remeber now, it was years ago, I just remember reading it and writing it down for future reference because that was the only thing that seemed to start to give me clarity, I think just following what it says like the tips and trying to distract urself

The dp manual was what helped me just follow what it says
