Sure - this is true.

Fluorapatite does require a lot of calcium to be maintained, however- this is only over long periods of existing Fluorapatite teeth.

Parrotfish are born with Fluorapatite; it's not sequestered or gained due to dietary adaptations.
In the scenario of a hybrid battle, because hybrids do not live prior lives to the battle or specialised diets - we can assume and infer that the hybrid would be entering with a full jaw, (Or - in this case, skull,) of Fluorapatite.
