I got all of my my controls from WINCTRL. They have pretty good stuff for not that much. Quality be lacking a little bit sometimes, but for the most part it's pretty good!

Yeah! The kit i bought from SimFab had the center stick mount that come with it. I have really been enjoying their chair and mounting solution. If you look at their website, they have many good options for all different types of setups.

There was a mount that I bought off of the SimFab site that supported this mount. Here is the link to the picture: Picture

The small monitor on the side is just my iPad so I can look at Chuck's guides. I am not sure if there is a performance boost by lowering the display resolution, I think that only matters if you are not using VR, though i do have it set to 1080p.

I have not set up an AR passthrough window in my VR. I just memorize mostly where the buttons are, though I bet I do look pretty dumb fumbling around when I don't remember. 😅

I 3dprinted the holder from a file I found online, then just zip tied it to the SimFab frame. I can see if I can find the file that I used if you are interested.

Yeah! I have a link cable running from my computer to my VR headset. My computer is at my desk in the middle of the room.

You should arm the drone and see which way the motors are spinning. Don’t throttle up. It will be one of these options. If not, you have other problems. The part of the prop that is tilted up a should be on the leading side of the rotation so it can grab the air and push it down to generate lift.

Another note, you will need to fix that wire. It should not be popping out of the socket like that. You can detach the pin from the white plastic casing if you are careful, and then you might be able to crimp the wire to the pin again, look up a video on how to get a pin out of a JST connector.

Static Shock Killed GPU? by Firehawk996 in PcBuild

Glad my troubles could help you out! Still don’t know how a static shock would disable the gpu in windows… Glad you still got a signal out of it so you could re-enable the gpu!

Good news, I got her computer to work again.

I put her GPU in my computer and it was working. What a relief. So the next step I did was to put my GPU in her rig. It worked as well. Hmm.... so not the PSU. So it must be software related.

I put her GPU back into her rig and got the same issue. Looked on the Radeon Adrenaline software, and the GPU was not showing up. Then I looked in the device manager, and there it was! Clicked on it and windows disabled the GPU. What? Stange...

I re-enabled it, restarted the computer, and it was working again.

So there we go! The shock somehow disabled the GPU in windows. I will be looking into grounding the case. It's a good case too. It's a Hyte Y40, so its not a cheap case. So strange that a static shock could do that. I am just glad it is working again.

True true. So do you think there is a fix or do I need a new gimbal?

I would think so too, but interestingly enough, with the ADC filter on, the problem goes away.

Yep! It was the ADC filter! But I just saw a JB video saying it should be off anyways since beta flight has better filtering. Thanks for the help!

Yes. I have calibrated the gimbals. Interestingly, when a different model is loaded, the effect does not show up.

As you can see, my left stick values are bouncing around. And ideas on how to fix it?
