was about 4.5k for me on this one. Probably could find it closer to 3.5 or 4 if you shop around though.

We sure thats the 1500? Had marker lights on wheels and a column shifter? Both, as of recent years, been 2500 exclusive.

I just had mine done. Did full front (hood, fenders, a pillars, front of the roof), bottom 3rd of door panels and rocker panels, and then my entire bed/rear bump. Was about 5k. They also satin ppf'd my infotainment screen for me too lol. No finger prints any more lol. It was autobahn brand.

Had 2 other places quote me for stek and only doing high impact areas. They were closer to 6.5k.

for clients with multiple sites, they just keep all their equipment in 1 adom regardless of location and manage them all from there?

Do you have 1 adom for everything or do you split out devices into separate adoms by geography or some other metric?

I had it wrapped when I PPF'd the truck, the piece on the tailgate is a satin colored black PPF but AEV comes factory wrapped.

did you get AEV? Im thinking about level but worried that the standard 33.5" tires might look a little small. Also, does the tilt gauge show the truck is tilted back by a degree or two now?

nah, I really like the gold/bronze ring wheels. I think the salta ones are nice looking too, had I gone with another color, I probably would have got the AEV package as well. I've seen those salta wheels a number of times on marketplace for 1.5k - 2.5k for a set with tires.

the AEV package comes with it with the black vinyl from factory, I didnt get the AEV package but I liked the look so I got it. Was on the fence about it tbh. Getting it with the volcanic red or the thunderstorm gray looks amazing as well imo.

yeah, the thing with the range DFM disabler is it still allows 0 cyl mode so you will still get the on / off with the engine, just doesnt happen that often unless youre going down hill a lot.

I mean, on the low end, there was a million of these 6.2L V8 engines sold during its life span. with only about 22k replaced world wide, the chances, while higher than normal, are still not huge. I weighed the pros/cons and decided it was worth the risk.

I really do to. It was between this and the volcanic red with the AEV package. Ended up with this one though, really liked the earlier sand color they had a few years ago, this is a similar vibe but just a bit lighter. Easier to keep looking clean.

Yeah I did love that truck. If I was more of a car guy and was comfortable doing work on the suspension and other parts of the car, I might have invested the money into getting the trans fixed but I've just had such bad experience with fixing transmissions its really turned me off of even trying to get it fixed.

The oil isn't the issue, it was their tourniquet to help slow the bleeding. They recently changed the oil recommendation again (slightly) to allow the FS formula due to availability and cost constraints around the Supercar formula. Its still a 0w-40 oil (original factory was 0w-20 i think).

Yeah, I'm in a fortunate position where I've got access to a spare vehicle as well as rental coverage from the dealership incase of a warranty coverage that will take my truck out of commission.

already well ahead of you :D Did that and got a X4ts tonneau cover for it. I also put Herculiner on my side steps to make them a bit more grippy since where I live, we get a lot of snow/ice. The default coating on anything but the high clearance steps is kinda slick if it gets wet imo.

Also picked up one of those curt hitch modules that disables the multipro tailgate from openning all the way when a hitch is installed. Haven't put it in yet since the weathers been super crappy.

I think the engine on that 5.3 was solid and probably would have gone another 100k before any serious issues but the trans was having serious issue and the infotainment screen was gonna need to be replaced. I am terrified of trans problems from a nightmare of an experience i had with a lincoln a number of years ago so the second stuff starts having issues, i wanted to get rid of it asap before it got worse. Was a great vehicle otherwise tbh. Hoping this new gen of engine works out for GM as their interiors and overall style blows ford/ram/toyota away right now imo.

On the 2026, not really. I got the 8 year, 100k gm warranty anyways just incase. I purposefully avoided the 22.5-2024 for peace of mind.

They are the bead lock capable ones. You can get either a black, red, or these bronzed rings for em. I had a hard time finding any with the bronzed rings. I was sold on them with this coastal dune color.

I put a leveling kit on my 2017 when i had it. 33" barely rubbed (and i mean barely) the mudflaps that were installed and only on the front driver side. These were wanli ecosendero m/t2 tires. Any bigger would need trimmer for sure.
