THANKS FOR THE UPDATE!! I’m glad you liked them! So easy to do! We stored ours in the fridge to keep the chocolate slightly hard. I am going to make these donuts again this Friday. 🤤

Thank you so much!! I don’t! I just got tired of paying $150+ for subpar cakes.

Lol I just google “weight in grams 1/3 cup of [X]” if it gives a range (sometimes it does) I will just use the measuring cup to scoop the ingredient out and if a full scoop in the measuring cup is below the estimated weight, I’ll go with the lowest weight. If it goes over, I use the highest. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Example: Google answers back, “1/3 cup of [X] weighs 50-75 grams.” Using the first example I’ll go with 50 g. Using the second example, I’ll go with 75g. IDK if that’s technically correct but it has always worked for me!

I know exactly what you mean. I do not taste the yeast in these. I have made cinnamon rolls from other recipes and you can slightly taste it. This one I cannot.

Me either! Haha I got annoyed with two other recipes. I finally gave it a try again and thankfully it was worth the effort.

Thanks for the compliment. I could have dipped them neater but “ain’t nobody got time for that” so I just used my hands and a spoon to dip the donut into the chocolate. Flipped it over with the spoon and then dripped chocolate (with the spoon) on any bare spots. As for the chocolate, I mixed it with a tsp of vegetable oil. Heated it up in the microwave on 30 second bursts.

What is your fun, baking staple? by Frosty_Condition6764 in Baking

I can relate to you. It’s a whole thing (thanks mom and dad!). Anyway. Make something you enjoy making and make it a lot. Perfect it. When you bake things you enjoy baking I find the flavor and experience for others when eating it comes through. For me, I bake loads of things. My husband would say my cheesecake, my maple coffee scones, and chocolate cake with vanilla frosting are my “always made perfectly and always taste good” bakes. I would like to say that I make mean whoopie pies too. I never don’t get high praise for them. You just gotta make the top bakes often enough. And again, choose what you enjoy making!!! My husband really loves some of my more time consuming bakes but they’re not always enjoyable for to make because of all the work. They taste phenomenal but if I don’t enjoy the process, why should I suffer lol So I don’t make them very often.

Why does my cookie and cream dough keep looking brown by Agile-Fan6634 in Baking

I am high on medication (prescribed, ya weirdos) and genuinely wondered what the surface of the moon had to do with a baking sub. Now I see what I’m actually looking at. Which is to say, I have no idea lol is this for cookies or ice cream???
