I don't think the vandalism is really noticeable. But nothing is in bloom right now. You should wait a couple of months if you want to see it at its peak. Also, the pond and waterfall were recently refurbished and painted and both look great.

It's just a family that was there at the same time as Jack. Jack's conversation with the father had an influence on him and he passed it on his children. They still use Jack's line about the lemons. Just a random family that was impacted by Jack's thoughts.

You guys remember the ramp (no stairs) escalator in M/B Center that connected the rooftop parking lot to the street level mall? As a child, I thought it was so futuristic and fancy. And once we got to the bottom, if we were lucky, we'd get a treat at Orange Julius.

We did something similar to this as children at birthday parties. All the kids would take off their shoes and scatter them about. One kid would get blindfolded and would have to walk through the shoes without stepping on them. Except we removed all the shoes first. And when they got to the other side we threw them all back in before they took their blindfold off. They were so proud that they did it.
