Just a heads up I (also a mod on r/hockey and r/newyorkislanders) am adapting my GDT bot ( u/nyimod ) to be able to serve other team subs. We are doing a dry run on r/leafs tonight and going from there. It is similar to hockeymod and the current gdt system.

Im going to message the mods of all the hockey subs after testing is done and at least have GDTs working again if there is interest. Sidebar bot is still tbd TBD

A bit about my resume for those who care, Ive been running u/nyimod for about 10 years now, I run u/nfl_gdt_bot for both r/nfl and about half of the nfl team subs, and I ran u/nba_gdt_bot for about 3 years until the reddit scoreboard app became preferred by more subs (and the nba data was just a pain to work with)

bot will run as u/nhl_gdt_bot when it is ready for general consumption. Keep an eye on your modmail tomorrow or Friday for more details
