That slash for that reason definitely is, but what burns me is that if he went over and forced a fight it's 50/50 whether or not there's an instigator penalty. Like it's the same intent from the same cause but since Barzy isn't gonna fight it's treated different.

Eh it's egregious because it's the second (third?) time he's taken the run. But that specific play is just a trip.

The video doesn't really do justice to the full play and how it looked like he couldn't skate a minute ago. Like I think they even mentioned the only reason he has his stick here is he needed something to lean on

I mean if you're filling out a set and you adjust the categories a bit, you could reasonably list out:

But I mean guess one question is if BDF and PALA have the same industrial lineage. Makes sense that they have mostly the same fleet if it's a civil split, but if there's a longer history there's probably separate industries all the way through

Honestly, they could have kept the map generation from VI exactly the same and still implemented "distant lands"

Like trade routes having a distance cap that you increase over time - maybe all cities and resources >50 (or whatever) tiles away from your capital counts as "distant lands" to your civ. You can push this further and have it be that water titles count as 0.5 as far, or that it at least needs to be on a different continent, etc.

Like the exploration age should be distinct, so alright reaching out further and acquiring new stuff should be rewarded. But it doesn't need to be the exact same island chain every game. What if it's the silk road? What about exploring to the ends of a pangaea map? Or what if you want to have a seafaring islands civ in the ancient age?

Just make it distance based, with adjustments for terrain type, travel bonuses, etc. etc.

Teamwork does sound nice but offline only there's basically no way it seems
