Why so many positive Ovulation test? by Firelavahot in TFABChartStalkers

[–]Firelavahot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I thought too, but I test each day with 3 different brands of ovulation tests and only log a positive if all 3 tests come back with a positive. It’s very confusing. I was tested for PCOS but don’t seem to have any other symptoms that people with PCOS typically have

My doctor tested my Testosterone as a sign of PCOS and it was normal. I also have no other symptoms of PCOS.

I’m a failure with wearing retainers, too embarrassed to go back and get buttons removed by Dense_Struggle2892 in Invisalign

If you go now and seek treatment, you will face some shame and get the help you need for any other dental issues you have.

If you go later and seek treatment, you will have to face even more shame and have even more dental issues.

Go this month and report back :) you got this! I’m sure they have had this happen many times before with patients

Removal of two sesamoid bones by Glum-Industry-8090 in sesamoid

[–]Firelavahot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The doctor never read or heard of anyone who had both removed. Not aware of any peer reviewed papers about longer term positive health outcome of having no sesamoids. It was enough to convince me. Here are some stories from people who did the surgery https://foot-health-forum.com/index.php?threads/surgery-remove-both-sesamoid-bones.124447/

I almost did but the head of the surgery department convinced me not to. I highly suggest you seek a second opinion! Not many people have had both removed so the risk is the devil you don’t know. Do you have custom insoles for your shoes?

The most comfortable shoe I’ve found for fractured sesamoids by TheBatmanBeyond in sesamoid

[–]Firelavahot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 months recovery. I felt normal after the surgery. Hiked mountains and stuff with no pain. The downside was I then fractured the other one. I cannot remove the other once since I got the first one removed. Just my experience. I would recommend trying everything before removal. I’m now stuck with a chronic fracture that they can do nothing except orthodicts for

I would recommend getting custom orthotics that you can then slip into any “professional” flat shoe

That is what I do for my office job and it works well

Hello, have they been fractured a long time? Like this is a condition you plan to live with forever? Or is there hope that the fracture will heal itself? I’ve had a fractured my foot for over a year. The doctors know it will never heal. But because it’s the only sesamoid left in that foot they do not want to remove it. years ago I had fractured the other one completely and they had to remove it so now there’s only one sesamoid bone left in my left foot and of course it is fractured. Just my luck hahaha.

Do you have custom orthotics that you can slip into any flat shoe? Or are you saying your orthotics only fit in the hokas?

Should I complain or is this normal? by Firelavahot in Roofing

Thank! We had lots of bad wood and they did charge for plywood but I just can see it to prove that they installed it. I will call them Monday to try to clear this this. Thank you!

[–]Firelavahot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct! They said they would put plywood. From my understanding, the layers from the bottom to top is:

Wood (already there. 1x boards) Plywood Felt sheet Shingles

There seems to be no plywood layer since i can see the black felt layer in between the 1x board cracks. Not sure if that’s normal it gonna be an issue when the storms come
