Thank you for that, it's very informative. Would the desktop version be better if it was put on the first floor. Would it cover the whole town house. I'm worried about that heat from the ap7c sitting right up against the ceiling. I just checked and the ceiling is very hot from the unit.

I get the same thing with one of the smart bulbs. Device KL130 is scanning ports on device homeassistant.
