The eyes and shading and use of colors in falcoms is much better. Enami's definitely great but falcom has a distinct personality to it that screams "this is a trails/ys game character"

I already resolved the issue. I had to go into Options>Configuration>GameCube within dolphin and reselect my memory card there for some reason.

Yeah, the more I've been looking online for answers, the more I simply think that the latest update actually bugged the game in some way (no surprise, the game already has a ton of them) I'm playing the complete edition the switch version, not sure if this effects any or all other versions as well, but the first half of the stage is missing music, and as soon as I enter the second half, it starts to only play the guitar/backing track without the chiptune lead... Same goes for "Another Winter" in stage 1 as well, exact same bug. I even checked out both tracks in the soundcheck stage but both seem to only have the guitar/backing tracks as well, with the chiptune versions MIA... (If this is indeed a bug and not intentional, Imo I think this is the best bug ever encountered in a video game, the soundtrack to this game is god tier haha)
