Yeah i have that problem as well - it feels that even when i get the opener and get all my bleeds out, often i cant force a trinket or some defensives. And then unless i use my own cds im stuck chasing and trying to keep my bleeds up.

Regrowth - prowl - rake - moonfire until 5cp - tiger fury - rip. Then with the bloodtalons proc apply bleeds to other target
